Look Chris im just to utilize our one main advantage, raw firepower, to cut through the PAC's positions at Haqlaniyah, once we freed that city from the PAC, will stop to resupply and replenish our losses and move on to Haditha.

All three battalions should setup in a line abreast formation, the ROD Battalion will be on Highway 19 to attack the PAC's Centre. My NC Battalion will be positioned on the Right flank to attack the PAC's right flank, while your CofC Troops attack the PAC's Left Flank.

My HQ will be located far behind our lines to ensure that Command and Control of this Brigade will not be compromised.

Communication to BDE HQ
I am attacking the PAC left flank now?
Why am I doing that? Why are you changing intention?
Tell me you map is a transparency that is wrongside up or it is upside down... if not, quit using the Karma Kanada Kanibus.
.so I am now attacking on PAC left flank?

No my Idea is NOT to attack Haditha first, but Haqlaniyah which is south of the city on Highway 19. check the RODs map template for details.

Iraq
Thank you HQ.
Scouts have arrived at Hwy 1 and moved on to Hwy 10/11.
Armored Co Baker arrived at Hwy 1. Stopping to replenish.
Logistics vehicles coming up. Infantry come up set up security with armor.
Have some guides that speak Farsi that are speaking with locals. There are not and PAC in area that they know of.
In Al-Kasrah we provide some medical attention, some mechanics help with those things that they are able to do so. The locals are mixed on the MREs.

Ok lets try this again.

All three Battalions will proceed North along Highway 12 towards the town of Haqlaniyah which lies just south of the city of Haditha.

The Battalions zones will be setup as follows

My NC Battalion will be on the Right Flank attacking the PACs positions on western end of the town.

The ROD Battalion will be moving up from the Centre to attack the PAC's positions there.

The CofC Battalion will be on the Left Flank attacking the PAC positions on the Eastern end of the Town.

The intent here (hopefully) is to Flank those PAC troops and take the town, before we continue North towards Haditha.

If we attack from the SOUTH and I am to focus on the EASTERN AREA of town, then the CoC units would be on the RIGHT flank. Not the left.
I have not a glue as to what you want nor what you are trying to communicate.

How about a map with some graphics to show unit boundaries and objectives? Also give us objectives but don't micromanage. Im5not charging into a city with tanks in the lead and infantry in the rear.

Ok Redleg, so how do we best approach the town? The method I originally planned would have been the standard method of approach, the MBTs provide mobile cover for the infantry to slip into a populated area unscathed.

Whose standard method of approach is that?

The ROD will move with infantry and tanks together. Tanks provide firepower and protection for the grunts. The grunts protect the tanks from ATGMs and molotov cocktails.

No one goes into an urban environment unscathed. Fighting in a city is a dirty business.
