Building buildings from scratch
Before I decided to go to bed last night,I checked out the paperterrain thread. I had an idea about making my own buildings. So an hour later I have this. Its just a simple factory that may be used just about anywhere, anytime frame. I did it using excel exclusively.
The printed images are cut out, then placed over sheet styrene, then brushed with liquid model cement. After it is dry (a minute or so) it is then cut out with scissors. The pieces are then glued corner first on the right angle of a square. The two squared halves are glued then the roofs. Touch up paint for the joints. Total time 1 hour approximate from conception of idea...

PING WITH A PIC
Just got back from a Brigade Command and Battle Staff Training exercise. My combat arms friends didn't do so well assaulting their objective, but my CSS BN did pretty well. We were able to defend the BSA agaisnt numerous truck bombs that tried to get past our concertina wire and 50 cal machine guns!
Speaking of concertina...check out my scratch built stuff. Bunker is from Old Dominion Games. I don't think its manufactured anymore. The object to the right is scratchbuilt foxholes.

twilight 2000
Did anyone else play this game back in the late 80'2 early 90's? I know it's a little outdated now but i always liked their version of what the T90 and M1A2 would look like. The t90 had a really long, low hull with a t80 turret on it. The M1A2 had an automated turret for the main gun, looked like a cross between the new LAV MGS and an elephant. I have thought about trying to scratch build a couple of these just for fun. Has anyone else tried these or other T2000 conversions?
