Hi,
now it is time for me to put some pictures in this topic.

The two pictures show my german patriot missile system on MAN-truck and the reloader on MAN-Truck. Both are use by german air force.

best regards

Here's a couple more from my recent efforts to add to my collection of engineering vehicles.

I had a Scotia Biber, but the hull was wretched, so I converted a GHQ hull. The cupola is off the scotia model, the rear support is sheet brass and wire, and the front is a catapult crane (IIRC) from an old battleship model.

I also made an FV-432 with Bar minelayer from a GHQ FV432 and a Scotia minelayer. Not a great shot (I have since flocked it), but I open the rear compartment, added a floor, and put an open door coming off the back.

There are a bunch of other new items on my webpage, including a pair of German Skorpion PanzerMinenWerfers (made from CinC M548, which come with an open back).

Just some WWII Russians I am working on...

ATRS:
The lack of Russian ATRs is the one item that stands out the most. There is a simple conversion using the Russian DP LMG gunner and the loader from the Russian 50mm mortar. Carefully carve off the circle ammo magazine and the barrel of the DP. Add a nylon paint bristle for the ATR barrel. A muzzle-break can be represented by touching the end of the bristle onto a soldering iron.

RADIO OPERATOR:
The Russian Grenadier is a very valuable convert source. A radio can be added to his back and his arms adjusted to a more suitable pose. In the photo below, he is cupping his hand to yell and holding onto the radio strap. His helmet can be carved into a cloth wedge and a spare helmet glued on.

SAPPERS:
A simple conversion can be made to the Russian Grenadier to become a sapper. A satchel charge can be added to his grenade arm and the arms repositioned. He can easily be made to point instead. It really adds drama to the Sapper squad!

Ow ow owie! I think I sprained my eyes looking at those Ruskies!

Troy, you are way far gone, soaring in the clear blue sky as if a vision rising above us, while we poor peasants of microarmor stir the dirt around and call it modelling. We are not worthy!

(Oh, and I like the flame coming from the sapper's flamethrower. However did you make THAT?) :P

Troy, those Soviet ATR teams are superb! Your work on a whole is that of a master in this realm! I think I need to go to MicroArmour school and learn some of your techniques.

Pibber, you just keep outdoing yourself - and raising the bar of perfection at the same time!

Beautiful work Pibber. Those churchhills are excellent!

Is that a decal on the fender?

Wow

I am assuming that both the bridge and fuel tank are scratch built??

If so, can you describe your methods??

Great work, pibber!
Hear! Hear! Those Churchill's are awesome!! I know others have asked... and I am really looking forward to both more pics, and a "how I did it" type post from you!

Pibber - they are superb.

I too would love some info on how you achieved that and also the divisional decal.

Thanks for sharing

Richard
