Do you have to select for height for your tanks and infantry? I have read several articles that the designs took advantage of their shorter stature.

The New Canadian Observers are not quite happy about Karmanaskis's statement about using our new LAV IV's as Target practice. nor where they impressed by the use of the cowardly and unmanly "UAVs", and the highly illegal Special Operations Forces.

The New Canadian Observers has since left the Demonstration site in a fit of disgust over the KDFs insult, brushing past the ROD observers and boarded their jet for the flight back to Ottawa.

"UNMANLY!!!???". WTF? Special forces may be illegal in Canada, but not the rest of the world. Go ahead, tie another hand behind your back. Warfare isn't a damned high school debate. It is an existential struggle. You better figure out the best way to use every weapon you can get your hands on. Stop reading comic books and get yourself a copy of Sun Tzu. Or you will be just another bootprint in the Canadian mud and somebody else will be sitting in your capital, legalizing marijuana, using drones, and training special forces.

I have been reading these Imagination threads for sometime now, and though I do not participate, I do enjoy reading some of the story line. Especially when it is accompanied by photos of miniatures. However, one thing has just continued to raise questions in my mind..

Why does New Canada think Special forces are an illegal organization? This has perplexed me for some time now.. The thought that UAVs being un manley is also perplexing, but hey if you like putting troops in unnecessary risk or going into something blindly, that is your purgative. It reminds me of a conversation, back in college, with a guy from the middle east shortly after the first gulf war.. he said the war was unfair because we had all our best stuff and we were so better trained. to which I responded.. um.. duh.. would you play soccer against a lesser team and put in all your second stringers..

As I wrote this, I am think I shouldn't have.. but like a moth to a flame.........

The reason that New Canada despises the use of UAVs as it takes away from the brave people who operate more traditional Recon Aircraft, such as the Short Sunderland flying boat and the CS-2 Tracker for the RCN, and the Avro Lancaster, and the CF-104 Starfighter for the RCAF.

The reason that Special Force is illegal in New Canada is a little bit complicated to explain, but they do see them as untrustworthy.

Iâ€™ve read the treatise, The Art of War, commentary written by Chinese WW2 veteran and General of Communist China. I had started another more contemporary commentary, 4 years ago or so. Have not finished that one.
Have you read â€˜On Warâ€™? I have not, as I understand it, it is more rambling, not as coherent.

New Canada Consulate, Komox Karmanaskis.

The New Canadian Military Attache has returned to the consulate after the NC observers left during the demo.

(Lt Colonel Gerald): (Takes off his gas mask) "Good Lord, the Pot smoke outside is terrible today."

(Staff worker 1): (Takes off his gas mask) : "Indeed *cough*, I don't understand way its part of their culture though, as its quite silly to be honest."

(Staff worker 2): (Takes off his gas mask): "it least the country's demo went pretty well, though our observers left."

(Consulate General): " *Cough* Close the door gentleman your letting in the pot smoke".

(Staff Worker 2): "Sorry sir" (closes the door).

All of them meet in the Consulate Generals office.

(Consulate General): "So how was Karma's demonstration of their military?"

(Lt Colonel Gerald): "The country's defense strategy seems... A little sluggish to be honest."

(Consulate general): "How so"?

(The Lt colonel gives him a marked document for the Consulate general to read).
