Thankfully, you are not me or a perfectly good aircraft would be waisted. You forget the Israeli's have used them to great success in combat. Aircraft get grounded due to an abundance of caution to ensure things are good until they know what happen. Safety first. The current issue is effecting low time aircraft with less than 40 hours. Most aircraft have been grounded due to an accident or mechanical issues for one reason or another. You have a huge hangup, when it comes to the F-35....it's well documented.

If it is any consolation Karmanaskis has had the very same issues bringing it's own stealth fighters into service.
It has been nothing but a slow, expensive and difficult learning curve with many set backs along the way.
The preproduction models of the KJ-20 (KarmaJet-20) shown below were delicate hangar queens.


Luckily the final production versions are superior by a generation and the first unit has now reached IOC.

After nearly a weeks worth of carrier operations and flight training in the flight simulator room in CFB Halifax, the pilots from the Regia Aeronautica are now fully qualified to operate on the deck of their own Aircraft Carrier RM Aquila, which she is scheduled to be commissioned in September. her Aircraft compliment is under development as of now.

Fighter Generation skip Program.

Air Force Commanders from New Canada and the Other POP Nations as come together to formulate a program that will provide Life Extension Upgrades to Current 4th and some cases 3rd and 2nd Generation aircraft to keep them in operational condition well we skip the current 5th Generation.

Along Side Life Extension Programs, Plans are being made to formulate Strategy's that will allow older Generation Aircraft currently in Service in the POP, to Combat 5th Generation Aircraft such as the J-20, F-35, and the SU-57. Since the failure to acquire a 5th Gen fighter of our own.

Hearing about the Hurricane situation in California. The RCN is sending the Hospital ship HMCS Medicine man with helicopters from No. 450 Squadron to provide Aid to California and to assist the ROD's SHAM units as much as possible.
