Will we be bringing larger units for the training and just identifying a few platoons to compete, or are we just bringing the competition platoons?

If we're only deploying a few platoons the ROD will just task a MEU. If bigger formations are participating though, we will probably send a battalion or two.

The KDF will send a contingent to take part in NC's Winter competition.
Individual platoons are unknown at this time but all will be from the 2nd Battalion, Northland Brigade.

The RCN Task Force is heading back home to Prince Rupert under full steam to complete the Patrol. along the Way we passed a ROD fleet doing their patrol in the Pacific. The fleet will be back home next week.

The Atlantic Patrol is currently being planned out for Spring that requires HMCS Canada to be present. And to test out the RCNs new Type 26 Frigate on her maiden voyage.

In other RCN News after hearing what the ROD Navy is doing with the MQ-25 Stingray for in flight refueling, the Navy is doing a feasibility study to see if that Drone, can operate on the Deck of HMCS Canada and work with the CF-21N Bromane Performing the same role.

Please disregard the obscene gestures from the ROD sailors on deck. Boys will be boys.

I couldn't help but notice that the Type 26 frigate is called a frigate but it's just about the same size as a Burke class destroyer, which is itself damn near the size of a Tico class cruiser. These warships keep getting bigger and bigger!

The RCN Officers are not very amused by those disrespectful and Offensive Gestures.

I was trying to guess the scale at 1/2400 for the Type 26 Frigate. I May have gotten it wrong.

Mech, In 1/2400 scale that should be about 63mm long x 8.6mm wide.
They are going to be a big powerful boat. That is why I need Type 054, 052D and 055 in abundance.

I'm just going off data from the internet. According to Wikipedia:

Length of a Type 26 frigate is 149.9 meters

Length of a Burke class destroyer is 154 meters

Length of a Ticonderoga class cruiser is 173 meters
