As a matter of fact, there is! It can be found here:

As for me, I just ordered 24 more packs of Terrain Maker and about a dozen European buldings. I'm pretty new to GHQ and MicroArmor, so I didn't know they had regular sales...I had just bought a battalion-worth (well, at least in 1:1, but in MSH 1:plt so to me it's a division) worth of Modern U.S. a couple weeks before the sale... :(

Being most of fleets bought prior to 91 or 92 are of the old lead ships I am replacing them with Pewter. 1st up are my IJN Ships:

CA Tone, CA Chinkuma, BB Kirishima, CA Takao, CA Chokai, CA Atago, CA Aoba, AC Kinugasa, CV Shokaku, CV Zuikaku, BB Nagato, BB Hiei, BB Yamashiro, BB Fuso These have been replaced already.

Under the GHQ summer sale I am replacing CA Maya, CL Agano, CL Noshiro, CL Yahagi, CL Sakawa, CL Tenryu, CL Tatsuta, CLTT Kitigama, CLTT Oi as well as the New Russian OB Rsessarevitch.

My Next order will probable be IJN's BB Mutsu, BB Kongo, BB Haruna, BB Ise, BB Hyuga, BB Yamato, BB Musashi, CV Junyo, CV Hiyo, CA Mogami, CA Mikuma, CA Suzuyu, CA Kumano, CA Kako, CA Furutaka.

That will leave the Jintsu class, Nagara Class, and 8 destroyer classes for the next sale.
Then I move to the German ships.

This is a expensive replacement project, but at least my boxes will be much lighter.

Summer Sale

Post by ACWBill »

I bought an entire army of WWII French which is the only nation I had not yet collected. I got a Combat Command and one of everything else GHQ makes in the 1940 period French line. I also ordered a bunch of 10mm Light Guns and some more infantry in Frock Coats and Forage Caps. I still want a bunch of 250/3 and Horch KFZ 18s due out in August so if the sale is still on then I shall order 3 packs of each.

I spread it out among the fleets as usual, slowly completing classes. The potential big mistake this time is that I ordered two Microarmor combat commands just for fun. Is this the beginning of the end? (at least for my bank account)

No, this is just the end of the beginning...

Muahaha!

TIP: Just have your bank account put in GHQ's name. It's what I did. It makes things so much easier...

GRRRRRRRR here to!

Was informed about mid July I was moving and had only 3 weeks to complete. My toys are back in my steel locker and paints are back where they can be used. But with all the spendingon the new house, deposits and rent I had to put it off too long.

The Summer Sale is dead!
Long live the Winter sale!

By then, South Carolina, Slava, Tashkent, Vanguard, Minotaur, and Midway should be available.

Looks like Don's got his sights on the same stuff that the rest of us in the 1/2400 crowd are looking forward to getting after New Year's.
It's certain to be a big (read: expen$ive) order when the Winter sale comes around. We'll certainly need that discount then!! :D
