Re: Gazza's Stuff
Not much in the way of stuff actually finished but as I took a few photos for FB...
1/600th Soviet Helicopters
The latest batch of helo's for a friend - Mi-17s and Ka-50s.

WIP
I've gathered most of my other aircraft together - not that it means I'm painting them all in one go.
1/600th Horsa gliders & assorted 1/300th Focke Wulf Fw 190s
Somehow, my Horsas have become rather separated and spread amongst various containers. These are the few I've started to gather together. Additionally, there's a few different Fw 190 models.

Two 3-Aircraft Flights of Ar 234 prototypes
Well the Ar 234C was about to enter service when the war ended. The 'Crescent' winged V16 was a pure prototype though. The wings were destroyed before they had been attached to the fuselage and thus the aircraft never actually flew.

Bv 138s and He 100s
Both of these models have been at about 50% completion for some time - I really should get around to finishing them.

Bv 141s and Blackburn Firebrand
The Bv 141 lost out to the Fw 189 and was therefore made in limited numbers (albeit - rather more than some of the 'what-ifs' here). The Blackburn Firebrand was originally intended as a fighter but it's unimpressive performance saw it limited to a strike aircraft. It also never entered service until after WWII and then only in limited numbers.

1/600th DFS 230 gliders and a 1/300th (Ford or Fokker?) Trimotor (3d print)
Yeah, not sure of the Trimotor - it was amongst some 3d printed stuff that Fred Oliver sent some years back.
[EDIT] I nearly forgot about the Bv P.208/03s

Focke Wulf Fw 189
More German recce aircraft. I'd quite like someone to do the ground-attack C variant - even if it did lose out to the Henschel Hs 129.

Focke Wulf Ta 283
Another flight of 4 'what-ifs'.

Gotha Go 229
Eight from Scotia and six from H&R. Although, two of those H&R aircraft are being repainted as the decals had silvered over rather badly.

I also have two more H&R Gothas - so eight in total.
Existing Gothas

Junkers Ju 87Gs
I've now replaced the missing undercarriages and 37mm guns and filled in the holes. I now need to sand down the filler before giving them a fresh undercoat.

P-51D Mustangs #1
I've made a start on painting the canopy frames.

P-51D Mustangs #2
Obviously, I've yet to start these.

OO 1/600th Ju 52s and Twelve (or so) Scotia Spitfire VBs
I think I originally intended to use the Spits as Seafires - not sure now.

I wonder how long it will be before all these are painted.
EDIT: Corrected a few typos.

Re: Gazza's Stuff
Well, the second flight of Raiden P-51Ds are finished (after a misadventure with the final coat of matt varnish eating a decal on one auicraft) - just the third flight to do. Hopefully it won't be as long between flights two and three as it was between one and two.

On the photos, there's a slight issue with the blue cowling (and canopy) on the Mustang that needed a repaint of one wing due to a decal getting eaten by the enamel varnish. I guess I better give it another coat of blue (and matt varnish).

That is quite a collection of interesting and some unusual aircraft you have there, Gazza. I like how you painted the Gotha.

Re: Gazza's Stuff
Thanks guys.
Delving into the realms of fantasy, here's a flight of four Focke Wulf Ta 283. I had all sorts of problems with the black crosses (and to a more limited extent - the swastikas) with a number of them disintegrating when being applied. Fortunately I had enough
'spares' to compensate - just don''t look too closely at some of the tail swastikas.

Although the camo scheme and markings are obviously made up (given that the aircraft never existed) the black/white/black nose takes inspiration from the black/white/black Defence of the Reich bands of Jagdgeschwader 4.
Models by Scotia; Paints by Ammo By Mig, Army Painter, Colourcoats, Games Workshop, Humbrol, and Vallejo; Decals by Dom's Decals and I-94.

Re: Gazza's Stuff
This afternoon I (finally) finished the 108 1/600th helicopters for a friend. I'm taking them over to the club tomorrow so here's a few photos of them (and a couple of other WIP things).
1/600th Soviet Helicopters - Overview

Mi-6 and Mi-26

Mi-26 and Mi-2

Mi-28

Ka-50

Mi-8 and Mi-17

Mi-8 and Mi-24
These were left over from another project.

Mi-24
There two different types here - one with and one without the nose gun.

Next for the same chap are two companies of WWII US Engineers (sans vehicles). These are organised for an armored division - the infantry division is slightly different but a few 'optional' will be enough to cover that TO&E.

And finally, for myself, some 1/600th Ju-52s and DFS 230s that I've had sitting around for so long that what started as 24 each has been reduced to 22.

Helicopters, Ju-52s, and DFS 230s by Oddzial Osmy, US Engineers by Adler (now part of H&R); Decals by Flight Deck Decals; Paints by Humbrol, Vallejo, Games Workshop, and Army Painter.

Re: Gazza's Stuff
I brought my Russian army to spruce up some units - it was easier to bring the whole lot rather than just the units in question. Some of these units have, of course, been seen here already
Self-Propelled Guns
Su-57 and Su-76 Regiments

Su-85 and Su-100 Regiments

Su-122 and Su-152 Regiments

ISU-122 Regiments

ISU-152 Regiments

"Stalin's Organs"
One lot on Studebakers, the others are on GAZ AAAs

Tanks
T-34/76B Battalion - a bit too early for my late war army!

Two T-34/85 Brigades - just add infantry.

T-44 Battalion

T-54-1 Battalion - before the T-54 got it's distinctive turret.

Heavy Tanks
KV-85, IS-I Regiments, a couple of Su-100 'companies' and a few spare IS-IIS and -IIIs.

Two IS-II Regiments and an IS-III Regiment

Assorted Armour
Assorted Armour #1 - A few armoured cars, plus a company of Panther Gs, T-34/76Ds, and T-34/76D with tank riders.

Assorted Armour #2 - A couple of Su-85 'companies' and some spare ISU-122s and -152s. Plus a couple of spare IS-I turrets and some IS-II hulls converted to the ARV role.

Recce Units
Armoured Cars, M3 Scout Cars (and Infantry), T-70s , and T-34/76Ds.

Infantry
Infantry Battalion - H&R old style figures.

SMG Battalion - H&R old style figures.

SMG Battalion - Adler - Winter Uniform.

SMG Battalion - Adler - Summer Uniform.

Adler Engineers and 2d6 Wargaming Naval Infantry

Softskins

Artillery

Self-Propelled AA

Re: Gazza's Stuff
I'm impressed by the sheer quantity of all this. You've done a lot of work.
And it looks nice too. Great bases, they're very well textured and don't overwhelm the minis themselves.
