Hey all,

Had a chance to sit down and finish a couple of vehicles. I've been gone the last two months so unfortunately only 2 finished at the moment.

Two DAK Tigers.

The famous OD Tiger. I think that this theory has been put out to pasture but I like the idea of it.

Image
A more likely "OD" Tiger. This seems more fit to the "correct" color of the solid colored Tigers in North Africa.

Regardless I've always found the DAK Tigers to be an interesting subject. I have three more in the works with two tone camouflage.

Enjoy!

Very nicely done Tigers. Beautiful detail work. Looking forward to seeing the other three when you finish them.

I received a whole slew of new GHQ models for Christmas. Here are the first models competed, starting with the K2 Panther.

I opted not to do a whole-model wash with this one, as I was worried it would darken it too much, and I really wanted to show the MERDC-inspired scheme used by the South Koreans. It doesn't show the depth of the detail like I wanted, but in all the photos I've seen of the K2, the camo pattern really stands out.

The same general comments apply to the KIFV. My only disappointment with this item is that it doesn't have the external baggage or the racks that usually hold it. Still, a fine model overall.

Finally, here is the Tortoise -- a model I'm absolutely a huge fan of. Very well done, looks truly dominating on the table, just as it should.

UN Team for my 6mm modern skirmish games at my "6mm Republic of Prussia" blog.

It's kind of hard to see from the picture but they have blue helmets and flak vests. And I used a permanent marker to draw in UN on the side of the armored car.

Thanks alot guys for your great comments!. Its a very time consuming project that im working in. Specially with my wife always asking me to take her everywhere; on my spare time I foccus in getting this project done.

Today I didnt have time, and today I wanted to finish the board 100% and start on the Ships. But life kicks in and time was consumed in other real life issues. Im not sure when I will finish but i hope its before i get called back to work.

@shadowspear: I have one; but I havent posted nothing new in months maybe a year. M1285.blogspot

This week il do the following:

Today (friday): 100% completion of the board and ships

Saturday: start on the second board

Sunday: finish detailing the second board

Monday(maybe) finish 100% the second board

I will post pics asap.
