Also in paint this morning a CL605 based MMA I'm calling Swordfish Light.

Check out Boeing CL605 MSA, RDAF CL604 mma or Saab Swordfish to get the gist.
Cheers.

Added.
If you can't afford an expensive P8 Poseidon this is the way to go.

Now I'm Working On.

Post by pmskaar »

I just finished painting and sending 3 new aircraft for the GHQ catalog. These are the SB-2, La-5 Razorback, and the MiG-3. I am getting another batch of things ready to paint for the catalog and will let you know when they are done.

For my personal painting, right now my main focus is 6th Panzer Division at Kursk. I am currently working on Panzer IIIL,M, and N for the 5th and 6th Companies. I am nearly done with 6 pieces with another 6 getting pretty close.

This has been an interesting project in that this was a time of transition for the German Army as the Panzer IIIs were getting phased out and more Panzer IVs were being phased in. In the 11th Regiment, 2nd Battalion, each company had a mix of Panzer III 50cm and Panzer IIIN with the short 75 and also some Panzer IVs. The 8th Kompanie also had 13 or 14 Flammpanzers depending on which source.

My goal right now is to finish the first 2 companies and then see if I want to get the other 2 done as well. We shall see.

Aso on tap for 2017 in my list of things to finish.

1. 5 Tiger Is and 4 Panzer IIINs for the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion in Tunisia. I have already done a fair amount on these and need to finish some detailing, decals and final touches.

2. 10 Tiger 1 for Kursk time frame. These will complement my 6th Panzer project.

3. 7 Panther D models for the same time period.

This should keep me busy for the next few months. I also have plans on painting some modern Cold War era and Arab-Israeli Wars vehicles for use with the Fist Full of Tows 3 rules.

Pete

Slow couple of weeks with little time for any painting but still adding to my Balzac force.
Needed a few Leo 2 ABL for my planned engineers.

More plows and rollers next on the list.
Another pack of WZ-9 helicopters picked up for converting to AS565 Panthers and a pack of stingers, RPG's & asses.
