With the pressure from local police in VZ with the mechanized forces coming in from the east from Guyana in VZ, Al-Kabab is thinking of moving away in the eastern area.
.
As the southern force advanced down the road with the mine detection vehicles closely followed by armored fighting vehicles accompanied by Rooikats and Ratels. The heavy fire from the forces of CoC have taken a toll.
. The convoys were firing on the RPG teams. As these teams put their head down, infantry squads deployed from Ratels fanning to the flanks of the convoy 100 - 200 yards usually. The Drones flew over head to provide intel. The AH-1 Cobras became engaged firing their 70mm Hydra rockets and the 20mm gattlin' gun. As the CoC forces moved up flanking the Al-Kabab men, they were eliminated or captured. In one specific closure on the enemy the Ratel team set up the LMG also firing upon the target RPG team, firing back almost blind. The squad of 9 men advanced upon the 3 in their holes. As they gained a little height being able to look down the sniper was able to eliminate two men. the third was wounded, in the shoulder falling to the bottom of his fox hole. A few grenades were thrown and one fell in and exploded. The attack squad heard a panic scream just before the explosion in the fox-hole. As the convoy assault vehicles moved slowly up the road trying to determine where the enemy was firing or might be located. One ran over an AT mine in the road, destroying the front two axles of the Rooikat without any serious injuries. As Al-Kabab infantry were firing at the advancing flanks, their location was established. Then those men received 20mm, 60mm, 90mm and small arms fire from the vehicles on the road. The Cobras added to the butchery and the dismounted men closed with the enemy. A slow, painful process.

Shortly after the B-58 Hustler landed, 33 minutes after. A dozen vehicles moved out of some garages in Brazil heading deeper into Brazil. 8 of them had single 23mm AA guns on the deck. Others had heavy or light m.g. and a few had recoil-less rifles.
. As the group of Kababs came up on a small militia barracks. The fired the 106mm RR and the HMG and 23mm into the 3 buildings including garage. The posted security were taking their nap in the afternoon. 12 there died, and about 18 wounded. Al Kabab escaped without any causalities. They planted 2 AT mines about a mile up the road from this militia base.

A group of Al-Kabab walked up to a station of 4 Leopard 1 tanks and a dozen men. They moved a 23mm gun by cart and donkey under the brush. A few minutes later it and men opened fire on the Brazilian soldiers. The initial volley killed 6. Only 1 Leopard 1 was manned with its crew. Other men running in from the flanks firing after a 30 second open volley. The tank crew caught off guard started to react.... identified the direction of the heavy fire is coming from. They started firing HEAT rounds. hitting trees and clearing leaves from the trees. Started firing the co-ax m.g. They found the direction and the target, taking out the 23mm gun, killing most of the crew and some other heavy machine gunners.
. In the next instant they heard a loud explosion. as an RPG hit destroying an unmanned Leopard 1. The remaining tank crews a dozen men ran away with the flood of men attacking with automatic weapons and RPGs, Those that resisted died. 4 more died running away and 5 wounded, 4 making a clean get away. The assault group fired on the manned Leopard 1 as it was turning the turret with an explosion in the rear deck and fire in the engine deck. The tank fired its co-ax hitting several attackers. The 105mm fired where 3 attackers lost their hearing from the gun blast just before they lost their life. 3 more RPGs hit the tank out of 5 fired at 30 yards, turret blew into the air. Al-Kabab. The engagement last just a few minutes, then it was over with over 20 dead Brazilians and a dozen Al-Kabab.
. The remaining Al-Kabab took over the 3 trucks and two tanks. Two guys that drove tractors on a fame got into the drivers seat, 6 other manned the turrets. One took command of a tank who learned on an M48 in Panama. another was an NCO serving on a T-55 years ago. They immediately pulled out of the fire positions. Heading further into Brazil.
. 8 kilometers down the road they ran into a supply camp with command staff. The tanks were welcomed.... fire!!! Those two tanks destroyed the command tracks, 4 other Leopard 1 tanks that were not manned, shot up fuel cans, tents.... men running like crazy. many being shot down as the ran. Total surprise. Some of the attackers got into the other 2 tanks starting them, driving them back north. Picked up supplies, equipment. They sent out sentries, monitor radio channels.
.
Canada
A small boat of two guys fishing just outside Naval base Nova Scotia. They have fish finders, big engine all sorts of gear. The head the boat towards the back, jumps the booms, men jump out. It is controlled by remote moving at 35 knots it hits a frigate and explodes. A hole 12 feet by 10 feet opens at water level flooding the crew compartments.
The ship explodes and then sinks. Killing over 100 are missing. It get dark a over the next 30 minutes.
. Al Kabab can be dangerous and surprising.

Al-Kabab members set 2 81mm mortars, each fired 4 HE rounds into Pacaraima, Brazil. This was a place targeted since this town sent people fleeing VZ back to Venezuela, not giving aid.to those that left VZ looking for food and a better life or even aid. The mortar rounds wounded two civilians and a soldier.

(CFB Lahr's Commander): 'Don't be ridiculous ROD, AL-Kabab would never dare attack Germany, that will be just silly, the German police and military will catch them before they even launch an attack, we are perfectly safe here in Lahr."
The Commander of CFB Lahr tosses the RODs warning in the garbage, confident that the German government will stop it before it happens.

Yeah, the polizei do a real nice job. Guess you never heard about the bomb in the American Express office in the Abrams Building (V Corps HQ) in Frankfurt, or the two incidents in the officer's club right behind it. Or the bombing of the Rhen Main Air Force Base club. Or the time a guy walked up to a major leaving USAREUR ha in Heidelberg and shot him in the face. And THOSE incidents were in the SEVENTIES... And they had real security. Yep, those reliable German Polzei. The civilian side of Frankfurt airport was bombed the day before we flew home from our Baumholder assignment in 1985. Terrism. BEFORE 9/11. MPs at the gate, looking under cars as they went on post, checking out engines, Under the car, Under our seats if we parked downtown... Yeah, toss that stuff in the wastebin, you arrogant piece of work. Insist on learning the hard way at the expense of your own troops.
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.
