This morning the ROD Marines loaded onto their ships and bid farewell to Mindanaodom. We would like to thank the CoC for their hospitality and the challenging training that they provided. Landing your Army troops on the beach behind our marines was an epic move and is sure to be talked about for many years to come!

Straits of Hormuz
Seeing that their is no activity from the Iranians for days, Admiral Hartly's RCN fleet is sailing back home to Esquimalt, their mission in the area is now over, and without a single incident of conflict..for now. The US and British navy ships are on their own now.

They will stop at Sidney Australia first to refuel the first before making the crossing back to Canada.

BOOM BABY!

People in the ROD don't buy houses near military bases and then complain about the noise.

1st SHAM continues its mission in the Bahamas, providing medical assistance to those in need, as well as supplying food, drinking water, and tentage. The supplies that the ships carried have been distributed, so additional supplies are being flown in from the ROD and the United States. Supplies from the ROD, US, and other countries make their way to Miami International Airport where they are picked up by helicopter and flown either to the ROD ships or directly to the islands when a suitable LZ is available.

Pictured here are 2 Phrogs from HMM-65 – Gargoyles – bringing drinking water to the Ares for future distribution.

The Rugby World Cup begins today! The ROD team is in Japan for the event, but ROD folk are not known for their rugby skills. They are in Pool E and their first match will be tomorrow against Mahishmati.

If the ROD is interested in reestablishing relations with New Canada, we do have a unused Consulate in Victoria you can use. the main embassy in Ottawa is still there and patrolled by the RCMP.

The ROD will consider the reestablishment of diplomatic relations with New Canada. Some support it, while others remain opposed to a formal relationship. Either way the ROD will continue to assist New Canada with rebuilding their military wherever we can.

The Ministry of Defense announced today that it had signed a contract with a company in Karmanaskis to produce defense-related hardware for the ROD Army.

Details are classified, but it appears that the contract is valued in the millions of dollars (Dalmatian Dollars). The ROD Army will be expanding in 2020 and this contract will provide the new units with components and/or major end items for light tactical vehicles, small arms, and/or night vision devices.

The ROD Army will not field any new units until early 2020, but the acquisition and training process is beginning now.

ROD,
You feel from your evaluation of Karmanskias manufacturing & specs, that they offer good value and reliable products, the CoC will evaluate to see about the offering that may come from Karma Manufacturing firms.
We appreciate the conclusions from ROD.
Bi-lateral trade will hope to improve relationship economically for the CoC and Karmanskis. The CoC supplied over 100 tons of steel, composite resin, and special armor elements/material.

The ROD is indeed acquiring gear from Karmanaskis and not New Canada. We need stuff and they can provide it. Beyond that, the Karmanaskis are accommodating and easy to work with. New Canada seems very uncooperative. You are unwilling to speak with KN. You are unwilling to speak with CoC. You demand that KN change their domestic laws and policies to fit your ideals.

Having said that, the ROD is willing to work with New Canad under the right conditions, and we will continue to assist you militarily as much as possible.

Well to be honest, Karmanaskis with all that Cannabis production, has proven to be quite a liability to New Canada as of late, if KN have something else of value that our country could benefit from, then we would reconsider the whole embargo thing.

As for the CofC, they did offer to improve relations to New Canada a couple of week ago which Parliament was looking into, but the incident with their Electronic Warfare aircraft over the East Coast during their training exercise, unfortunately ruined that.

Where not uncooperative, where just...uptight on things, we are gentleman after all we just have a different view on things.
