I was warming to the stowage/ detail pack idea as I do often add extras to my armour.
If GHQ was to issue such a pack I would indeed buy one!
However I think that is the problem, I would buy one.
The detail would be great, the pack would be very useful and several of us here would be very happy to buy them.
Then again how many here have picked up multiple packs of the M2-M3 details kit?
Do not get me wrong It is a great idea but do you have a personal choice that you would buy more of?
This I believe would point to a new vehicle or infantry pack.
For me it would be stowage/detail packs =1
Bv206 = 10+
PS, Yes I would add the said details to my new shiny Bv206's.

7.62 you pointed out a really good argument I had not considered. And at the risk of being self-defeating, I wonder if the inaugural customer pick shouldn't be something a little more ** CENSORED ** than a gear bag. Just some polite/friendly debate as I'm snowed in and fiddling with my recent GHQ Black Friday purchase...
There are plenty of packs at GHQ has produced where, in my opinion, customers would typically buy only one. Just go through the engineering vehicle section for many countries, and I suspect most folks don't have all of them and what they have maybe only one pack. Or the Wehrmacht '47 tanks. If folks had enough vehicles, then one stowage pack wouldn't be enough. I have purchased a whopping 3 packs of details for M2/M3. Not much but needed multiples for my half tracks. Also, the stowage pack would have a very broad appeal whereas some picks would only be for a niche audience.
GHQ could have 100 customers buy 1 pack or 10 customers each buy 10 packs- depends which is the better bet I guess.

BurtWolf well said.
Without torpedoing my own request I would also concede the following.
Sometimes a new GHQ release may not not sell that many items by itself but it will drive the sale of other GHQ items.
This could be a case for the stowage/ details etc.
A plain Jane older model may appeal to some by the simple addition of stowage, spare wheels, jerrycans etc. This may have a very broad impact on many other items making it a good commercial move in the bigger picture.
Case in point, someone buys one pack of stowage then adds to their M1, M113, Bradley, BMP, T72 whatever fleet. That one sale is good commercial move.
In my case I will not buy the new SA-10, Mil-28 and BM-27, I do not do Russian.
Still I will buy more GHQ to counter my silly imaginary threat!
Bingo, I do not buy a Mil-28, I now go and buy more CV90 to convert to the air defence role and maybe Tiger attack helicopters too.
Dam, I'm not making this sound any better......
Vote for the Bv206 folks.

I think I've purchased maybe five of these detail packs in spite of the fact the only half tracks I have are maybe a company worth for early Israeli battles. I have no use for half the stuff in the pack, like the side and rear racks, but the rolled tarps and gas cans get used very quickly.BurtWolf wrote: I have purchased a whopping 3 packs of details for M2/M3. With the right mix of tarps, personal gear, gas cans, spares and what-not I could easily see buying 10 or more packs over a two or three year period. Maybe that isn't enough to drive production but it is 10 more packs of modern micro armor than I'm likely to purchase as it stands right now.

Vote for what you want. Don't fall for the argument of 'I'd only buy 1 pack'... Think about it... how many people would buy 10 of the pontoon bridge sets? How many people buy multiples of the tank transporters? I have, but I'm modelling brigade size units at 1:1 with all support vehicles.
To put it another way; I'd look at the contents of a 'baggage' set' even though I don't do moderns. I might buy a pack or 2 if they suit. Most everybody would buy a pack at some point. How many people would need or even want 10 packs of BV206's? I sure don't. The people who want the BV206 had better be prepared to buy hundreds of packs to match the random sales of single packs to almost every GHQ customer of anything that might be considered generic.
Vote for what you want, not for what YOU think would sell well. NOT YOUR JOB.
That said, I'm not voting. Don't give a flying toss about moderns...

I do, that's why I'm voting for it.

Glad you agree with my last post.

One Modern Item
Since we are limited to 1 item, my choice is Cold War British Infantry from the 1970s - 80s.
Right now, for Cold War era, we have 1980s American Infantry and Russians from I would presume the same period. Not much other infantry is available for this period.
Red Leif and a couple of others asked for a Russian heavy weapons pack from the 70s which I am fine with.
I would like GHQ to eventually do West German Infantry, 1970s to early 80s American infantry with steel pots, East German infantry, Arab infantry from the 67 and 73 Wars and also Israeli infantry from the same period. This would give more infantry options for those that are interested in 6mm Team Yankee or other Cold War era rules such as FFOT3.

Oh I HAVE some moderns, I just don't go out of my way for them. Mostly a collection from swaps to get other bits and pieces. The only modern period I'm interested in is Korea, which I acknowledge is niche and the infantry (at least Australian infantry) fall into an equipment hole of a mix of US and commonwealth uniforms with Lee Enfields and Brens.
Aussies with long pants would be nice though. They could be used for late WW2 Pacific as well as Korea. But that's WW2 that happens to work for a (very early) modern conflict... that actually took place.
