A Company / 1st Tank battalion / ROD Marine Division is complete! Someday I will get some replacement MGs and glue my fingers together trying to add them.

Image

In the ROD we number our tanks 11-14, rather than 15-18 like in some military forces. We also maintain the tradition of naming our tanks.

This company just completed Table VIII and they are conducting maintenance on their tanks. Just down the road, though, there are Marines that are prepping to deploy. Vehicles and equipment are being loaded onto ships at the Naval Amphibious Base, adjacent to the port of Saint Catherine.

Redleg,
I like the armor camouflage, they look nice. Also like your ships, nice task force for deployment.

NC has a lot to do.... stop Al Kabab, BT, some dang war lord, stop CoC (I hear they’re puftas), aid. You have much to choose from.
Besides I read somewhere that the are a bunch of ships and submarines in the Atlantic looking to put silhouettes on the outside of the bridge and fly the Jolly Rogers Flag. Not sure what that would indicate, just letting you know what I read.

Why didn’t you listen. CoC has had encounters previously, then you intentionally attacked us. Heck you arrest people, lock’em up because they protest against the NC Govt and it’s policies, rough them up. You use sticks on your own men.
Thus might makes right, carry a big stick, don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.
You are tough, you understand being tough. We are just communicating in you language.

Well it does not matter not, you got a brigade sent into Ayr, and im only here to just (Hopefully) delay you long enough for Yer Bouti to Arrive.

plus it would give me the chance to earn some combat experience i needed to do the shoot and scoot tactics.

More scooting than shooting, no doubt. Got a lot of practice at that.

To answer your question Mech, the Eurasian Empire is pretty quiet at the moment. They are basking in the glory of their recent victory in Egypt and they are consolidating their gains in the Imperial Security Zone. Some new construction in the area to support a permanent presence there. Their borders are closed and most of the Empire is on lock down due to the pandemic.

Happy Easter from the ROD! I'm spending the holiday at my personal command post. I just had my vehicles all repainted with the new ROD-approved colors. I'm very important, so I think I will be acquiring a second set of command post vehicles painted desert tan for when I deploy to a desert region.

And yes, as a matter of fact, I do have my own guidon!

Nice command post arrangement.
Some on as regal as you does need their desert command group equipment, might even consider arctic equipment for a command.

You're getting plenty or combat experience, Mech, but you as the player need to learn the tactics and skills to employ your units successfully.

Hopefully the other posts will catch up, but just in case I will begin moving some info over to the micro battles web page. Here is today's update:

A raging gun battle occurred early this morning in Northern Iraq, approximately 25 miles north of Mosul between two organizations that shouldn’t be in the country. The firefight took place in a small town near Duhok, Iraq. Several trucks carrying personnel from the PAC (Persian-Arab Coalition) engaged several operators from a private military company called Hoplite Tactical Solutions.

The battle lasted approximately 45 minutes. 1 PAC truck was destroyed. Casualties are not known because both sides took the wounded away with them.

By the time authorities responded the battle was over and the combatants were gone. The government is conducting a full investigation into the incident.
