Well Chris these UAVs where sitting unused and forgotten about in that Old hanger for years, now they are being quickly serviced and sent out by cargo plane to catch up with the reinforcements sent to Egypt on Friday. Hopefully they will provide the edge we need against the EE in the Suez Can-al as it’s not looking good right now.

Only 3 squadrons in my division is using CH-47 Chinooks though they where used to get the 1st infantry Brigade over the can-al after we unfortunately destroyed the highway 50 bridge days earlier, so it was a slow engagement something that the ROD is greatly disappointed at us now.
On Friday we plan to march back to the city of Suez to try to make a second attempt to remove the Imperial marines there, however their use of Asymmetrical Warfare gave us problems the first time around, I have yet to figure out how to best this kind of warfare, which eludes me.

The Imperial Marines are fighting as units: squads, teams, platoons, companies, etc. Those people are not of the local area, so they should not be able to melt into the population. Getting into urban fighting is a tough way to go. Ask the Germans that were in Stalingrad.
. Are you able to isolate the city of Suez? If you remember fighting in Nouakchott, Mauritania? In our zone, used the AH-1 Cobras to help observe and destroy the embedded soldiers, secured a perimeter of several blocks with strong units on the intersections to eliminate any resupply or retreating units. Advanced into house by house with strong fire support... slow, painful, destructive.
. Can you bypass with a large security force setting up a ring around, them move forward? Counting on help from the locals?

Unfortunately no we did not isolate the city of Suez we only took the western end of the city and setup fixed positions to secure it originally, the locals who lived their has since fled thanks to the shelling done by the imperials, our helicopters are only just transports, we had no gunships in the area, then in the morning we staged a massed infantry wave attack to try to clear the buildings out, we suffered, heavy losses and that left us short handed, then after a day, we abandoned the city to help clear out the wreckage of the bridge until we got our reinforcements on Friday, then will make a second attempt on the city.
And Yes I do Remember the Mess that was the Mauritaina campaign, I was fighting the brown trouser after they attacked my Armoured column, I assumed that those guys where uneducated to conduct conventional warfare tactics. I was wrong.

Highway 50, Egypt.
NCAF Soldiers onboard the M35 trucks examines their new RQ-11 UAVs trying to figuring out how these things work, theres no instruction manual to go by as a reference, but they will have plenty of time to figure out before they reach Badr City tonight to confront the Imperials 215th Armor division as part of the RODs "Operation Mongoose", and we just got word that those Imperial Marines we fought in Suez City days earlier, had withdrawn to the west to link up with the rest of the Imperial forces, this could pose a problem for us.
Fortunately we got fresh reinforcements, to replenish our heavy losses, the officers are rushing through the FM 7-8 manual in order to develop better tactics that we can use aginest the Imperials.

With news of the loss of the Halifax Frigate HMCS Fredricton in the Suez war. The New Canadian government has pulled funding from the NCAFs own Spec Ops program to which it had been delayed for awhile, in order to replace the old Halifax frigate. Any suggestions for a New Frigate class for the Fredricton would be Appreciated.

You're not going to find a silver bullet for defeating anyone in the FM 7-8. That is the manual for US infantry squads and platoons. You need to read that manual because it can be your foundation. Learn the basics first and master one level before you move up to the next level. Your division in Egypt has big issues because they have no foundation. Squads don't even know how to fight, so how can you fight platoons, companies, battalions, etc?

Honestly by sheer weight of numbers alone, as trying to command a division from the squad level can slow a operation down quite a bit, to the point that I worry that the enemy could take advantage of it. Plus it could have lead to my troops being spread too thin trying to maneuver around the enemy.
I’ll try to utilize the stuff from FM 7-8 as a foundation for my division.

In a effort to combat and prevent the new disease Coronavirus from entering into New Canada, the NC government and Health Canada has closed off all air and sea travel to and from the infected areas to where the virus is located, Medical resources will be in place to help quarantine and treat any NC citizens who came into contact with this virus...
And that includes the NCAF forces stationed in Egypt as the virus is confirmed to be present in that nation.
