What the heck,why not...
Still on the top of my list-
Krupp Kfz 69 Protzkraftwagen light gun tractor.
These were very common in the first half of the war, and still turned up at the end.
I'd really like to replace the lot I have from H&R...

Also, all WW2-
French and Soviet flak. Especially the light French stuff.
Italian Bersagliary motorcycle troops; including the tricycles used as equipment carriers and light gun tugs.
Italian 65mm mountain/infantry gun. Make the shield optional, please.
Soviet tracked haulers/gun tugs -Komintern and Voroshilovets (sp?)
A pack with a couple different Polish trucks would be nice...
Soviet horse-drawn limbers, carts etc. Maybe a mixed pack...?
And last-
Axis mountain troops-
any or all of them; and some German & Czech mtn. guns to support. :)

Hey guys, I found a vehicle from the Vietnam War.
The M76 Otter.
He was an amphibious cargo carrier used by the USMC.
(He was later replaced by the M116 Husky.)

And another model:
M53 / 59 Praga "Lizard"
The M53 / 59 Praga is a Czech mobile anti-aircraft weapon system with two 30mm anti-aircraft guns
In the Yugoslavia war, the weapon system was often used from all sides. It was also used by Iraq in the Iraq war. He is also used in Libya.

One last appeal for updated Modern British Infantry weapons! GHQ has invested heavily in the latest modern British vehicles but I just won't buy them when such a key component is missing - almost none of the weapons in the current pack are still in service!

Need some Firecan SON-9 AAA fire direction units for a Downtown air game.

Nobody makes one

Might use a German Command trailer as an interim.

Might as well get my votes in too, even if there are few new ideas.

WW2

Italian:

Bersaglieri motorcycles: Others have also suggested, and I add my vote to the count. In particular I'd like to see no (or very few) side-cars. Two to a motorcycle for most of them, please. Also some tricycles.

SPa AS37 light trucks: I like the suggestion of Fiat 626s, but this one is even more important to me. This truck was common in North Africa. It was the base vehicle of the Sahariane reconnaissance companies before the AS42 Sahariana vehicles entered service, and was often seen in operation with the AS42s. We already have the chassis for the TL37 prime mover, all we need is a truck cab and bed. I'd prefer it without the canvas top. Then I can put whatever cargos I want in the bed.

French:

AA guns: My preference would be fore a French 13.2mm HMG AA gun. But I'd also go for a Hotchkiss 25mm gun if that's what was available. Both also served with Romanian forces, so there's a double-duty opportunity (build once, sell twice).

Tirailleurs Senegalese: These infantry served with distinction both in the 1940 campaign for France, and in the Vichy / Free French actions through mid-1943. Other manufacturers offer them at other scales, and they seem to be reasonably well accepted. Might also serve as Italian Askaris with a little work.

Laffley S20TL truck: Long chassis (6 x 6) with troop compartment in back. This was the specified mount for the Dragons Portees of the DLMs. So if you want to field your S-35s and your H-39s, you should probably also have infantry in these trucks. But alas, no one makes this vehicle at this scale (other than a Shapeways vendor).

Romanian:

47mm Schneider AT gun: Could we please get this gun? It was probably the most important AT gun to the Romanian forces throughout their campaigns on the Eastern Front, and was particularly heavily used by the Romanian armored formations.

Generic (or multi-force):

Empty Motorcycles: I'd also be a buyer of empty motorcycles. Not a lot, but after my Bersaglieris arrive on the seen, they will dismount to fight. Then I need to buy some Bersagliari infantry (ooh look, complimentary product sales!) and I need some empty motorcycles for them to return to later. This pack could be done with empty attachable side-cars, so that it could serve the German motorcycles pack too (ooh look, MORE complimentary product sales!).

Engineers: Described in prior years as well. I'd be a buyer for some generic field engineering troops. Use side-caps or field caps (with visors) to get multi-national use from them. Satchel charges, wire cutters, mine-probes (bayonet or spike), entrenching tools ...these were common across almost all combatant nations, and might be put into a pack with a sprue with a few prone or kneeling riflemen with similarly generic headgear. Or do different packs for each major combatant nation with some sprues of the generic figures described above, mixed with sprues of nation-specific infantry figures, mine-detectors and flame throwers (rather distinctive between various nations) with national helmets (although the mine-detectors will be wearing caps anyway).

American:

I second the call for a mainstream M4 Sherman turret. Split hatch for the TC, with or without a loader's hatch, wide (M34A1) mantlet, with applique cheek armor, please. If we had this turret I could buy some of the "Modernized" M4A1 75mm tanks.

That's my set.

The current list is almost expended. I am looking forward to the new list of products, although I can't help but wonder if GHQ hasn't reached its production capacity. Very curious to see what is on the way.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the Jackal that should be released next week! If it looks good, I will be ordering a fair number. Maybe they could follow it up with a Coyote TSV next year as they are complementary to each other.

Last chance to get on the GHQ's talking list for new models.

JAS-39 Saab Gripen (2 to a pack naturally)

Pantsir S-1 (SA-22 Greyhound AD system)

XA-180 Pasi APC (or XA-360 AMV maybe)

Dirt bikes and ATV 4x4, 6x6. (Generic could pass for a lot of Nations these days, recce, SF).

I will start the next year's wish list as soon as GHQ publishes the new equipment list.

Perhaps we should try and focus it a little this time like Donald does with the ships? Collate the results and perhaps limit the number of selections a bit?

If someone would like to do that, it's fine with me. I don't have the patience or interest. It doesn't seem to overwhelming at the moment and it isn't my place to restrict anyone's wishes. If nobody steps up, I will stick to the current format and start the thread.

Perhaps we could do both - one thread stays as it is, another to try and influence GHQ by focussing the list. I'd be happy to collate.
