NCAF, awe, don’t worry about it. Don’t make a statement on redemption or working easier. Just do it.

Just to whet everyone's appetite:

The ROD Ministry of Defense is happy to announce that June 2020 will be witness to the first annual International Tanker’s Ball! This week-long event is dedicated to tanks and their crews. The event will be held at the Combat Maneuver Training Center at ROD’s Armadillo Barracks.

The ROD invites interested imagi-nations to send their best tank company to the event. For this event, a tank company will consist of 10 tanks, 1 recovery vehicle, and 4 wheeled support vehicles. Tanks must be fully tracked, turreted, without dismounted troops, and mount a main gun of 90mm or larger. All 10 tanks must be of the same type.

There will be 6 competitions:
• Gunnery Range
• Driving Course
• Tank Biathlon
• Maintenance
• Capture the Hill (Company)
• Tank Dogfight (Individual Crew)

While not part of the competition per se, there will also be a massive tank battle in the CMTC training area.

Like an individual crew tank demolition derby using MILES? No ramming a la Kursk, though.

No ramming, just shooting. We'll program it to kill after the 3rd shot, so that each tank can absorb 2 hits and the duel will last longer.

At least that's the idea. What do you think? Would a tanker go for a tank on tank duel, or should we stick to a company size force-on-force? The Capture The Hill event was supposed to be the equivalent - 2 tank companies fighting each other to capture the same hill.

Make it free-forall, last tank standing.

I like how you think! That would be much easier logistically too!

Could put two tanks against one another in a sniper duel, too. Requires strategy, tactics, smart use of terrain.
