I remember the purchases of commissions. 4 guys that came to the CoC in Mauritania campaign, purchased Flag ranks. It takes under 2 years to get the money back, excluding taxes. So buy up, the CoC financed those guys since NPV is extremely lucrative.

Purchase of commissions does not ensure competence in military leadership. You have only to read a little British military history to find that out.

I know, but its one of the few easy ways that you can become a officer in the NCAF.

Speaking of which, im trying to figure out how to keep the senior officers safe from enemy fire while in the front lines.

You have a warped idea of the profession of arms, don't you? I'll bet you never read the ORIGINAL Starship Troopers (by Robert Heinlein), and I don't mean that horrible movie or the book written from the screenplay. This is the one where the lecturer in OCS says to the students "Your life is not your own to expend in a suicidal reach for glory. Neither is it yours to preserve if the situation requires that you expend it.". That applies to ALL officers; junior, senior, and those in between.

How will you get your soldiers to do what must be done if you are cowering safely in a bunker somewhere safe. LEADERS MUST share the risks of the led.

I guess you are a product of today's society and you've gotten your ideas from tv and the movies.

There shouldn't be an EASY way to get a commission. It ought to as tough as possible.

It seems that most of the officers of the NC Army purchased their commissions!
To date I do not have evidence to the contrary.
Do you?

CFB Halifax
The Supercarrier HMCS Canada is currently docked at a supply depot, to be loaded with her new Complement of Aircraft, including the 4 recently acquired CC-2 Greyhounds, once loaded she will partake in a shakedown run.

The Dassault Rafales are not ready to be deployed yet as they are undergoing field testing at CFB Toronto.

The Lessons learned during the Black Sea Conflict has sparked interest in the RCN to refit the 3 King George V Battleships with Land Attack Cruise Missiles, so they can strike targets from afar. the Navy has selected the BGM-109 Tomahawk to be fitted on the Battleships.

This is part of an ongoing effort to modernize the NCAF with lessons taken from the ROD.

Back in Ottawa, the NC Government has reached a decision to put an end to the Bureaucratic system of logistics both military and civilian at the end of this month, work will began on ways to develop a better system that is not bogged down by long paper trails.

The ROD is glad to hear about the NCAF reforms. New Canada has talked about reforms before though - looking forward to seeing the NCAF execute.

Thanks for the kudos, but the CoC and RPNW handled their business in the Black Sea War - there are many lessons to be learned from their performance in that conflict.

Might use a commercial shipping, fishing, repair facility, and docks. Improve it, fence it, secure it. If you then need any port facilities, I’ll have them. I’ll put in a runway. Like yo acquire a facility for aircraft 100 miles inland, maybe down/along Alaska border, maybe near Eski (the tail of Alaska). Maybe have air facility near the sea port. Eski is not a Dom, but friendly with CoC. Maybe I can acquire an air base there. Just fly back in forth.

I do not have anything close by. My closest facility is Panama,

That will take a few years, especially on the BB.
TORPEDO tubes on the BB.

Yes MK 48 Torpedos on the BB. this concept was inspired by the submerged torpedo tubes found on WW1 era Battleships. the idea is largely meant as a self defense weapon should an enemy ship get to close to our battleships.

Ok, you indicated Mk45, not Mk48. Those were built with them.
Back fitting torpedo tubes in the hull would be extremely difficult. Of a deck such as a triple, quad or pentagon launcher on deck might make more sense.

Yea that was an error on my part Ive since it changed to MK 48s as Canada has those Torpedos. I'll alter it so the tubes are on deck.
