You know what, forget about doing static defenses altogether, lets concentrate on maneuver warfare like what everyone else is doing... that is If i can get the Nigerian Divisions vehicles to stay operational in order to do that.

I;ll have to post armed guards and install Air defense systems on those trains so I can keep this supply route safe and reach Romania on time.

Mech, worry about your own damn vehicles and weapons. You have your own problems to work through.
2. May wish to have helo and fixed wing patrols prior to and during rail movement. Additionally, prior to movement hire and enlist local police, mercenaries to help. Have inspection and patrol on ATVs, etc. of the rails. Electronic jamming.
We are moving the Nigerians north. Taking rail, road along with some airlift.
We have various radars all over the Black Sea, surface search and air search.
We are conducting Operational Research of data on EE ports, aircraft, transmissions, location, etc. Data is going into Networked supercomputers
Satellites, drone and aircraft up.

There were a number of Nigerian officers in my motor officer course at Knox. The rest of us were packing bearings, changing oil, pumping grease, learning electrical systems, performing preventive services, digging into engines, transmissions, differentials, etc. The Nigerian officers would do nothing that got their hands dirty. Their maintenance will likely be very bad.

The Karma Foreign Minister is happy to meet with the delegation, from the RPNW in Helsinki.
If necessary the Minister will travel direct to Volgograd and shuttle between the parties concerned in an attempt to avert a major conflict.
The first shots may have already taken place but he is calling for all to pull back from the tipping point of what could become a disaster.

16th Corps
Thessaloniki, Greece to Sofia can be arranged, also from Athens to Sofia, which is 5 1/2 hours. There isn’t any standard passenger service.
16th Corps
Do it, but do not tell anyone. Have AH and helo transports flying. Conduct inspection, I am sure you have done that already.
Bulgarians are doing that now. Working on that to Lasi zone.

16 corp,
continue to move or try to move north, the NC division is the strongest of your Corp. Moving the strongest of the two Nigerian Divisions first, the 1st Nigerian Div. I am transferring the 8 Nigerian Div to you, in Bulgaria & Romania now. It should begin arrival in your zone by morning. Some rail, and truck. I will keep the 2 Nigerian Div Motorized, may place it on the shore, and help in some key choke points to help ensure EE does not land un0opposed. If you want a brigade of the 2nd Nig Div. (Mot), to keep you lines of communication open, we can do that to. Let me know your thoughts.
30 Corp,
Balzac has Leopard 2A6 and CV9040,. Use in each brigade 3 battalions, each with 2 companies of Leopard 2A6 and 1 CV9040 co.
Artillery use the Archer, 155, truck mounted. Also use the CV90-120 twin barrel mortar system. MLRS etc.
24 aircraft, JAS_39 Gripen
Another Brigade of Camastan of 3 battalions each with 2 companies of Challenger 1 tanks and 1 company of MCV_80. M109A2. 12 F-16 A.
Finland, a brigade consisting of 3 battalions with 2 Leopard 2A companies and 1 company of CV9030. Artillery are M109A2. 12 Mig-29.
Build your logistics.
What is your intent.
5 Corp
Move armored recon and wheeled AFV into Moldova. Build logistics capability.
.
6 more ships are approaching Istanbul to pass through to the Black Sea. 2 LCS, a tug with a barge with 8 Hercules and Pegasus Patrols boats all covered with convas. 2 cargo ships and a frigate.
.
A meeting just ends in the Presidental Residence. Several boxes of are opened and left. 2 have gold bars and 2 have silver bars, each weighing 28 lbs. A receipt to Swiss bank account with $5,000,000 in USD. He did not want the CoC currency.

The NCAF continues to move troops and equipment by aircraft to Bulgariadom. It's not a great distance, so each aircraft can manage 3 sorties per day.

The Eurasian Empire is sending a representative to Helsinki for the peace talks.

The SITREP page n the micro battles website is up now so i will post daily SITREPS there. https://microbattles.webstarts.com/index.html

[GM's Note: I won't be posting any more today, but I'll be back on tomorrow. Today is Memorial Day in the United States and I will be drinking all day to the memory of SPC Tracy Laramore, SPC Clint Matthews, SFC Raymond Jones, SSG Toby Mallet, SGT Peter Enos, SPC Nicholas Zaragoza, SPC Joshua Henry, and SPC Morgan Jacobs.]

The Karma Foreign Minister has had separate meetings with several of the parties in Helsinki.
No official statement has been made but it is clear that there is a very big difference of view points from the delegations.

"That Countries have sent diplomats gives us all hope, we are talking and although there are major problems to be addressed we will continue to talk. This is just a first step and we must give it a chance to succeed".

Helsinki
Yesterday afternoon the Imperial delegation arrived in Helsinki for peace talks, led by the well-known veteran diplomat Vladimir Smudgakov, former Imperial ambassador to the UIN. Ambassador Smudgakov suggested that the Eurasian Empire wants peace, but that it cannot ignore that Ukraine is occupying the Crimea, which he says is an Imperial territory illegally occupied by Ukraine. He went on to propose that if Ukraine were to surrender the Crimean Peninsula to the Eurasian Empire, violence could be avoided.

The Ukrainian delegation, obviously, refused the proposal.

Talks lasted into the evening, and then the delegates retired for the evening.

Ukraine
At 0100 hours local time, the darkness erupted into flame and chaos as the Eurasian Empire launched its attack. The operation was timed flawlessly: Imperial combat aircraft streaking into Ukrainian airspace to attack ground targets near the border as well as military air fields, nearly crippling the Ukrainian Air Force. The savage air attacks lifted and within seconds massed artillery barrages fell on the Ukrainian Army units that were just pounded by Su-25s and Mig-27s. The artillery bombardment seemed to last forever, but eventually it lifted. As soon as it did though, Imperial tanks smashed into the battered Ukrainian units while attack helicopters struck command and control nodes and surviving air defense units. As they withdrew, Tu-95 bombers appeared overhead to rain destruction down on Ukrainian logistic and maintenance hubs.

Helsinki
At 0130 Ukraine time, Ambassador Smudgakov was roused from his sleep and received instructions via secure satellite com link. At 0215, the ambassador spoke to reporters, delivering a prepared statement. The statement read as follows:

After a concerted effort to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis in the Black Sea, the Eurasian Empire has, regretfully, been forced to take military action. The continued aggression of the Ukrainian government cannot be ignored. The people of Crimea, who have long yearned to return to their ancestral Imperial home, are being liberated as we speak. Their cries of anguish at being subjugated by a ruthless and immoral dictatorial government are turning to cheers as our brave soldiers liberate them.

Operation Bogatyr is intended to liberate our people in Crimea and to eliminate the threat of further aggression by the Ukrainians and their allies. We urge those nations that are currently massing in the Black Sea to mind their own business and find a better outlet for their aggressive urges. The Eurasian Empire will only use that force which is necessary to achieve its limited goals, but if provoked will attack with a ferocity that has never before been seen.
