The New Canadian Forces Commander will arrive shortly to take over operations in the border, his predecessor has been sent back to Canada to face punishment for his Ineptitude and reckless endangerment of civilian lives. Im sure the ROD must understand that this is the first time Canada has been deployed aginest Al-Kabab.
The New Forces Commanders plan once this Forest fire is dealt with, all Canadian forces will move into Venezuela to flush out Al-Kabab forces from any nearby villages hopefully without causing collateral damage.

The rest of the Canadian Armor has arrived at the Brazilian Border ready to conduct the big push into Venezuela once the Forest fire dies down quickly.
The new Canadian Forces Commanders plan will go as follows, the target is the city of Santa Elena de Uairen it lies near the Borders of Brazil and Guyana, if we capture and secure the city, AL-Kabab and any radicalized Venezuelan army units will be cut off from launching any more attacks on the Brazilian border. will go into the city in a vast wave with the Armor moving in first with the infantry following behind them using it as cover. Aircraft from the RCN, ROD and Brazilian Airforces will provide air superiority in case any SU-30s, F-16s or F-86s are seen flying in the area. I dont know what to expect of the Civilian population in the city but be on your guard, they may have already been radicalized.

Fire has been contained, expected to burn itself out in a day or two. There have been some showers which has helped along with a light cool breeze. VZ is still wanting payment of $4,000,000 for the damages and cost of fighting the fire by VZ services. It has been reduced because of the quick response of Canadian military and VZ protective services, army and volunteers.

Al-Kabab was being pursued by the southern group which consisted of OH-6 Loches, and AH-1 Cobras. As a small Kabab was following a trail it exited the wood line going across a pasture and fence 3/4 across the field before entering the next wood-line. When out 400 meters almost halfway across, 2 OH-6 appeared, to the north about 800-900 meters away. The Kababs hit the ground pulling the mules down with them.... they were spotted.
. The OH-6 set up for .50 call fire and 70mm rocket fire, taking a minute to set it up and call in the Cobras. Started firing the .50s of both Oh-6, A minute later and SA-7 was on the shoulder of the gunner... he fired it from his knees after the detection of heat. The OH-6 to the left saw what he was doing and had done with the back-blast.... it trained the .50 call on him piecing his body in dozens of places. The SA-7 hit the OH that did not respond immediately to the back-blast. It turned to move back over the wood-line when it was hit in the port side door, killing both crewmen, only the pilot survived with burn on iw body.... then the crash into the trees as the blades hit the trees, spinning the helicopter as it hit ground. Fuel then caught on fire with a small exceleration of burn, which expanded to the cabin. As this happened the other tank ruptured and exploded sending hot metal into all three human bodies, killing the pilot, Capt Johann Turling.
. A minute later the two Cobras came up opposite sides of the field, as if covering 1st and 3rd base with the remaining OH covering home. 20mm fire opened up on the men crouching into holes only a rodent would love sitting in, trying to hide. In 4 more minutes, all 12 were dead. When the pursuit group got there to inspect, all were confirmed dead. Some intel was recovered, but the 20mm destroyed the map of some base camps. Only a general idea of location could be discerned.

Al-Kabab group hit another town with 2 set bombs. As people ran away to hide for safety. 5 AK-47s opened up killing more. 8 from the two explosions, 17 more from the followup gun fire, with 47 wounded. As security forces and police arrived in drabs, they were shot down or killed with grenades by Al-Kabab. An hour later when Brazil Army showed up in armored cars, V-150 with 20mm and 90mm guns. They proceeded cautiously. They found 83 dead or that would die along with 76 wounded. Many were hiding in attics, basements, closets, barns and ditches, etc. There were not any members of Al-Kabab in town.

(Canadian Forces Commander): "all right people listen up the fire has died down enough for us to began the operation, the ROD unit will move into the Venezuelan city first to ensure the AL-Kabab is not present while Brazil and our forces will follow behind them the Armored Vehicles go first with the infantry following behind them to provide rolling cover, if we are under fire by the Kabab we must press on to capture the city at all costs".

Just to clarify, the ROD will send ODA 411 to surveille the town of Santa Elena de Uairen from a distance. We will report our findings to the Canadian commander, but we won’t be entering the town itself. ROD reconnaissance aircraft can also overfly the area around the town to look for Al Kabob forces staged nearby.

(Canadian forces Commander): "There's not enough time to survey the area, We will enter the town now as planned we will drive Al-Kabab out of there or we will die trying, people are counting on us to win this fight to free Venezula from these insurgents, Commence the Operation"
Canadian and Brazilian forces began to Rapidly advance to the town of Elena de Uarian, Leaving the ROD forces behind they are more then welcome to join us on the advance.

It is the assessment of the Yer Bouti Military attache in Caracas that any invasion across the boarder would unite the Vz military and people against it.
Regardless of who is doing the armed crossing and who they are looking for/attacking, they will become the common foe that must be repelled.
Any fight that Vz has with Al-Kabab will be put on hold to repel the invader to their National sovereignty.
Al-Kabab would probably get a free pass to operate as it wishes if not covert material support from the Vz gov..

(Canadian Forces Commander): " if you can't come ROD then please leave a message to the Venezuelan Government that we came here to free there people from Al-Kabab, I'm sure the people in the city where charging into will welcome us with open arms as heros to this country , As for the Yer Bouti attaché to the Venezuelan Government, maybe there army can meet up with us to help fight these insurgents eh, besides VZ will never work alongside the Kabab anyway".
The combined Canadian and Brazilian forces are near the city, the Commander sitting in his M557 thought that this would be the greatest thing he did in his life save a country from AL-Kabab, while in this good mood he starts playing (Joy to the World by Three Dog Night) over the loud speaker to let the Venezuela people living in the city know were coming to help them out".

Learning the event unfolding on Brazil border, CoC forces pull back 4 miles. shorten our lines of communication. Both pursuit groups pulled back.
VZ
Lil Dickie the Dictator of VZ spoke on national TV and radio, all station carried it. "We must defend ourselves against the CoC forces, the Brazilians, the Canadian. This is a plan to take the natural resouces of your country, take your oil, you farms, your wives and daughters. Throw the jackals out, throw out CoC, throw out Canada, and most certainly throw out Brazil> Then we will throw out Al-Kabab, too."
"We will form Dignity Brigades, (soon to be know as 'Ding Bats'), to fight against these invaders. Al-Kabab killed people in VZ and Brazil, (which isnt all bad in private conversation), Canada and Brazil started the worst man-made disaster ever in our history. They tried to destroy our country. The refuse to pay us the $20,000,000 owed. Now they leave the fire to burn again and grow. They hate our people, they want our country. We need to save our families, save our homes, save our churches, save our sacred honor."

(Canadian Forces Commander): "WHAT!?!, Im sure this is just a misunderstanding, where on the same side here with the same goal of removing AL-Kabab, plus the Canadian Government did sent out aid to this country as payment for my predecessors mistakes it will arrive after the conclusion of this multi-national mission here".
The Canadian and Brazilian forces suddenly halted there advance in confusion and just froze on the spot over this recent news from Venezuelan State TV.

The Canadian coalition forces in Venezuela set up a emgerency meeting to determine there next course of action due to some unexpected curcumstances from the VZ Goverment. They quickly decided to retreat to link up back with the ROD air liaison group deep in the jungle before Venezuelan army forces arrive.

VZ Ambassador to the UIN
"We are still waiting on the proper payment of $25,000,000 as approved and needed to compensate for the damage to our natural resources, pristine virgin forests that have been burned out. We do welcome the fire fighting equipment, but that will only prevent from expanding destruction caused by Canadian forces."
VZ
Al Kabab set up an ambush on a Brazil army group heading down the paved highway. Fired machine guns and RPGs into (and through) the convoy. The return fire was extrememly heavy from the .50 on the trucks and the armored cars. The V-150 armed with 20mm and 90mm were motivation for Al-Kabab to leave. The one AA vehicle, V-150 with Vulcan turret was scarely. 14 Al-Kabab dead in the wood line, 5 Brazilian soldier met their end. Did not have enough time to set up the ambush properly. No vehicles were destroyed, although a bunch of bullet holes.
West Coast of Panama
4 more cigarette boats took off in 2 pair moving at 40 knots, about 6 miles apart. A Loch approached on the close pair 23 mile from the coast of Panama. As the helo got within 1/4 mile of the speed boats, it was fired on by a a twin .50 call on the close boat. The helo crash about 2 mile back toward shore calling "may-day" and alerting to the fire. the co-pilot and a crew member died in the helo prior to the ditching. A Hercules Patrol boat sped to the site of the down Loch to rescue and recover operation. 2 AH-1 Cobras were sent to patrol around the crash site to secure it and observe, letting the cigarette boats leave.
. New policy is OH-6 / AH-6 are not to close within 2 miles of cigarette boats because of the weapons.

The ROD is not covering a thing. ROD forces have departed the area. Canada's insistence on exerting operational control over ROD forces is not acceptable. ROD air liaison team and ODA 411 have returned to Panama and ROD ships respectively. ROD aircraft are not available to support Canadian or Brazilian forces.
