I was watching a program on the history channel about strykers...In the gulf I never had a chance to really know much about them...it was not in our to&e in any format

Just an update from my friend's son in the sandpile. 3rd Bde./2nd Inf. Div. does use the slat armor on all Stryker varients. No MGS Strykers are in the TO&E, only the ATGM (TOW) vehicles (4 per company). They had a "quiet" Christmas where they are. The 4th Bde./2nd Inf. Div. will get the MGS Stryker first, the other brigades will get them as they re-equip/refit. His dad told him about the Stryker minis available at GHQ, and is impressed. He can't wait to see them when he gets back. I hope to have a Stryker Combat Command completed (due out 2/07) before he gets back this summer.
