Kruppe Protze GHQ Stock # G97 ....does this model come with a seperate canvas tilt, like the tow for the 20mm AA gun?

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately no, but I'm sure if you ask GHQ nicely they might help you out.

Hi LightningLewis

I have both versions of the little Protze ... G96 has a moulded deployed canvas tilt:

http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/g96.html

and G97 has a moulded stowed canvas tilt:

http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/g97.html

... that is the tilt on G96 (the tow for the 2cm FLAK 38 ) is cast as part of the vehicle, not separate.

I'm not aware that the tilt is available as a separate item ... so you would have to order the Protze from G96 as a 'spare' part ($US2 each?).

Does that help clarify things at all?

You can do that too, but what I meant was ask if they'll just sub some or all of the open trucks in the pack for the covered ones since they do make both.

Chris,

You can ask but in the past when I've asked that very same question their reply was No! They make a production run and from the way they described the process the actual packaging is done by someone who is hired for that mundane task, someone who isn't at all familiar with the actual miniatures. They're just told take five from that bin, two from that bin and glue the blister to the card. They've always made me special order things in these situations.
