newb questions

Hello, everyone. I am a veteren sci-fi squad level/skirmish miniature gamer (I have played swmb/swm, 40k/necromunda, sst, warzone ), but I am fairly new to 1/285 - only exposure to the scale was classic battletech and a few EPIC 40k games..
Recently I have become interested in micro scale, and GHQ looks to be the best miniature range ( and web site ( except for the spammers, but that is an issue with phpbb, esp if you don't update the software often (I used to dev the web so i know ).).).
