Big Game in South Bend Indiana Decemeber 29th and 30th

Hello all

Just wanted to let you all know of the upcoming game on the 29th and 30th of this month. It will be held in south bend indiana at Blackdragons house in his basement. There is several spots open for play. Wel will be playing with JB's rule set.

The game itself will be a two day event starting on the 29th and ending some time on the 30th. It will be a couple of battles fought in an around Kursk. So, soviet vs german.

If anyone is interested in joining us at this time there is roughly 6 to 9 of us gaming those two days. Please feel free to send me an PM and i will get back to you asap with directions and times.

I like always will loan out my couch and floor space to anyone traveling a lengthy distance and wishes to spend the night. Now dont want to hear anyone say its to far JB and the rest of us have all driven up to 4 hrs to game for one day events before. So, if you can make it and wish to meet some good gamers and guys feel free to drop me a line and i will fill you in on all the happenings.

We as a group also game roughly twice an month. So, if you can not make it to this event still feel free to email me and i will add you to the list of gamers that already recieve the email monthly. Thanks again and I hope you all have a safe and wonderful christmas and new year. take care all and may we all get lots of GHQ under our tree this coming xmas.

...had a good time,thanks to all you guys and your hospitality. It was really nice to play big segments of the Kursk battlefield on 2 - 4'X5' boards. That is what Micro armor is about...

I did the last two, maybe JB can convince Kevin to put something up, he took pics of both boards.

Hello all

Just wanted to thank everyone that showed up for the Kursk two day battle last weekend. It was a good game and a fun time held by all. As for pictures i will put up what i got soon they are not as good as Pitfalls older camera here, but i will edit what i can and get them posted. Once again thanks JB, Pitfall, Rougrider, and Blackdragon for coming and all the others for a good game.

The main battle the Gernans where from the left and the Russians where on the right.

This picture was to represent the gullie the blue line being the bottom of the gullie, and the brown lines the crest of the gullie.

The germans roll forward. My camera is not good in low light as you can tell from the quality of the image. Those are a compay of PIIIM's.

A better picture showing the 2 companies of PIVH's, two companies of PIIIM's and two comnpanies of Panzer grenaders. Also in the fore ground was a company of Tigers, and a company of Marauder III's.

The battle half over and the PIVh's and PIIIm's have taken out almost two companies of T-34's and a company of KV-1's due to Fullmetaljackets orders and Pitfalls and Blackdragons die rolling.

Only low point Michael wittmans tiger is taken out due to 122mm artillery, luckily he made his save roll and got out and took over another tiger in the company.

A whole gaggle of KV-1's are taken out due to German artillery and tanks. of the 1st SS.

really nice pictures and great models. Especially I liked the tigers with the grey stripes.

One question. How do You made the base support for trees?

Oh yea i forgot to mention that playing in the dungeon that is Blackdragons. Ok raffraff where you all taking those pictures in a museum nice pictures and lighting. Nice tanks to by the way. My pictures did not really show the quality of equipmenet that was on the board here is a better picture of the tigers that where there though.

This is a picture take last summer but the usually players was there again. For everyone out there in TV land from left to right is Kevin (dont know if he brouses this forum, Blackdragon, JB, Fullmetaljacket (the coolest cat there!) Rick, Dave (he is a professor ohhhh!) Jim (the man knows anything you want to know about World War II and British especially. Of course the first picture on this thread is Pitfall himself he was not present at the event when this picture was taken.

Kevin I think that we should rethink using the tags and bases....I have an idea!
