Ju 52 and Go 242

Well! GHQ seem to have really excelled themselves with these fantastic models. I've been waiting for these for a long time, and I am not disappointed. Although they are still in their blisters (I resisted the temptation to open them until I'm ready to assemble them) it is clear that each has a multitude of parts.

The JU 52 has separate wings and fuselage, and the latter is moulded in two parts, having a separate floor. The wing-mounted engines are also moulded separately, and there are two sprues of small parts for the undercarriage, various struts and the propellers.

The Go 242 is less complex, has a hollow fuselage and a separate rear door.

The fine detailing of panel lines, windows and, in particular the structure of the Ju 52's 'corrugated' skin, are all exquisitely done.

Nice work indeed, but i canÂ´t understand, why they didnÂ´t make the egines for the gotha too...
But still airplanes are the stepchilds of GHQ

The wings and tail booms are moulded separately, so it would seem to be a fairly simple alternative to offer the Go 244 in a separate blister (too much surplus metal to offer as a construction option based on the way the parts have been moulded).
