Unfortunately its all PBEM these days. The only time I have is after I put everyone to bed and if I get a touch of insomnia now and then. Maybe I should start a thread for insomniac gamers...

A quick check of Wikipedia says that there was only one, but there's also the USS Flgstaff to consider. Built by Grumman to roughly the same dimensions - it too could be a possibility. Now if there was just some operational use beyond a 'What If' scenario.

While we're on the subject of hydrofoils didn't Israel use some? Does anyone know the class name? Did any of them actually see combat?
