T-34 found in lake

This T-34 was recently found and recovered from a lake. Notice that it has German markings (obviously captured at some point, not an uncommon event; more than a few T-34s were captured during the war).
Beyond that, notice the fantastic condition this puppy is in. Here is a real good idea of the proper 'color', which has been well-preserved by mud and cold [not salt] water.

I guess the moral of the story is that if you want your GHQ miniatures to stay well preserved, store them in cups of cold water and mud.
