Open invitation to come to our next WWII armor game in the west Atlanta metro area.
Game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb 17th at my home in west Cobb county.
The scenario will take place in Winter 41-42, Russian Front. Soviets will have a nice breakthrough force of KVs and tank riders, with some MiG-3s for air support against a German strongpoint, centered around some heavy weapons. Might get some panzers in a relief force.
Should be an even nicer looking table than usual, since I will be able to set it up at my place instead of doing a road game. Everything will be ready-just bring a good attitude and a sense of humor. Anyone interested,please contact:

How did you do the snow?

Martin sends me these bags of white powder from Florida. Seems to be leftover from the Coast Guard days.
Actually it's a cheap plaster of paris like powder. Martin and I used to use talc powder, but the babyfresh scent seemed inappropriate for our depictions of mass carnage. The real pain is the cleanup. I use a mask now. Too many years of enamel paints and lead minis are probably not helped by ingesting this stuff.
The normal ground cover for a nonwinter game is a green or tan cloth that I use pastels to draw in roads and slopes and what not. After the game I throw the sheets in the wash and almost all the pastel lines are gone. Whatever is still visible I just spray over with a dull ground color before the next game.
