Indian Territory: Both mounted and dismounted native american figures that could be used to represent the Cherokee, Choctaw etc. soldiers that fought for both the USA and CSA.

US infantry in great coats & Forage Caps (at right shoulder shift) IE Fredricksburg
Ragged Confederates IE Hood's Texans
Cavalry in ACTION poses
CS Cavalry with shotguns and pistols and US with Sabres in fighting poses
Iron Brigade in Hardee Hats and Frock Coats with gaiters
US troops in Frock Coat and Kepi
CS Troops in Frock Coat and Slouch Hats
Heavy Coastal Artillery and Crew
US and CS Sailors and naval landing parties
Civilians
More Personalities - Hood, Cleburne, Forrest, Rosecrans, Thomas for the WESTERN theatre!
Troops of all kinds taking hits

In general the infantry and cavalry need to be in better action poses like you'll find in 15mm and 28mm lines. The 10mm Napoleonic Cavalry is done in this manner. Why not ACW?

This is far from a complete list.

Weird but I always wanted an ambulance to go with my other wagons. And a mountain howitzer, or the naval 12lber for ACWBILL's shore party.

I can't really add anything new to the list that ACW Bill and 10MM Civil War have already done. I too would like more civil war personality figures such as Bragg, Joe Johnston, Hood, Cleburne, Forrest, Polk, Hardee, Ewell and Pickett for the CSA and Thomas, Rosecrans, Sherman, Grierson, Sheridan, and some of the other Corps commanders for the Union.
I would also like to see the Iron Brigade troops as well and more poses to boot for all the figures. Perhaps a couplle of 10 mm Civil War buildings as well. Just my thoughts here on this subject.

Let me pitch in once more and see I would love to see all of the above. The ACW 10mm Buildings selection is already quite expansive. Check out Battlefield Terrain Concepts, Timecast, some of the Old Glory 10mm buildings available through Old Glory Shipyards and the same's Ironclad line. Also, Thoroughbred Minis makes some nice 10mm ACW era civilians. The figs I listed above would be welcomed but I think will not be forthcoming.

Speaking of civilians, the GHQ USA Headquarters pack has a civilian figure in it.

Much to my delight when I opened it I found there is a Lincoln figure complete with top hat. I always put the HQ on the game table and when new players who have never seen my figures see the Lincoln figure it is always worth a laugh.

I did manage to find a Sherman figure in amongst one of my US Generals pack. However, all the aformentioned others are still required.

I posted this a day early. I should have waited until tomorrow, the anniversary of the Battle of Fredricksburg, December 13th, 1862.

Ah, thread necromancy!

I was looking over the ACW line and trying hard not to reach for my credit card. :-)

Things that would make it harder to avoid buying this line:

Ambulance wagons: 2-Horse and 4-Horse standard wagons for the US, and a converted farm wagon for the CS.

Horseholders: perhaps a pack with 3 cavalry troopers each holding 4 horses? These would go nicely with the dismounted cavalry! A pack with "spare" horses (Union artillery mandated 1 per 12 assigned to a battery) would be nice too.

Ponton bridge w/engineers: key to a number of campaigns.

Musicians: pack with fifer & buglers (yes, I know there's a bugler with the skirmishers and two in the dismounted cavalry - but by the middle/late part of the war my understanding is that buglers were the only musicians who took their instruments into combat). Fifers would be nice for marching infantry.

More & better photos of existing packs on the website: ACW18 (Caisson w/riders, US) shows a gun & limber not a caisson & limber. Many packs (ACW2, 20, 24, 26, 33, 35, 41, 42, and 47, to name a few) have no pictures at all. Unpainted is just fine!

What would others like to see?

I'm relatively to the ACW (about a year or so, still working on my first 1k of Union), but I have to echo the first item on ACWBill's list:

US infantry in great coats & Forage Caps (at right shoulder shift) IE Fredricksburg

Other than that, I would really like to see some pack restructuring, if at all possible. The GHQ packs tend to offer too many command and crew, resulting in wastage of (relatively expensive) figures. Specifically:

1. Packs of cavalry with no command would be great for building units larger than 12.

2. Separate packs of 4 guns or 24 gunners would allow people to use the number of crew they like. I've personally never met anyone who uses 6 crew per gun, in any scale, for any H&M period.

A photo of what is in the "Headquarters Set" would also be appreciated. Is this the set that has the horse-holders I see mentioned?

Cheers,

Christopher
