Thanks, Mark. The buildings and entrenchments are for all seasons. I use the Woodland Scenics snow flock sprinkled over the top. Clean up is easy. All that flocking gets brushed off the pieces onto the ground sheet and folded into it. I scoop most up off it when I get home and drop it back into a container. I have a unused snow container and a dirty snow one. Some of the items are winter specific like the the wooden fences and infantry and whitewashed vehicles. I have some frosted fields to break up the landscape. The white sheet itself is a old bedsheet with lots of pastel markings that are left over from previous games.

This was the 2nd part of the Rots June 11, 44 game. This was the actual assault into Rots by A and B Troops of the 46 RMC along with 2 and 3 Troop and the HQ tanks of the Fort Garry Horse. The town was defended by elements of 4 Kompanie, 12 SS PzGrd Rgt and the grenadiers of 1st Kompanie PzGrd Rgt 26 of the 12th SS Div.
The attack would come from the NW and west side of the table (the near side) The village of LeHamel and the River Mue are off table to the west. The German player was told that the Brits/Cdn are to the north and Nw
The Commandos could arrive from the roads on the west edge and we went with their historical route of the Chemin de la Cavee,
Commandos had 2 troops and the support of 2 troops of M4s/Fireflies and 2 HQ troop M4s. The Germans had a weak company and 4 Panthers and 1 PaK 40.

Another game from last month. This was the April 16 attack up Reichstrasse 1 by 74th Gds Rifle Rgt to the slope in front of Seelow. There were a lot of Soviet units involved in the game but were understrength. Each Russian player had a weak company of 2 2-section platoons with 2 MMG teams. There was also a Engineer platoon of 2 sections and 2 additional MMGs and a FO for some 82mm mortars. They were promised armor support but that was hung up in traffic and didn't arrive for 5 turns of the 'Time' card. Since there wasn't a lot of anything but sitting and exchanging shots, I took the Germans. I had some elements of the 76th Pzgrd Rgt. 2 platoons of 2 sections each and 2 MMG teams and 2 PaK40s I also had a FO for 2 tubes of 82mm mortars. A company of Volkstrumm was in entrenchments on the heights.
6mm minis and I Ain't Been Shot Mum rules. Looks like flickr or the GHQ site is not working like it used to for posting pics

Your games always look amazing Bill! That looks like a single, solid terrain board - do you build the boards for specific games? Fantastic setup! It must take hours just to get everything ready with the correct forces in the right locations.

"do you build the boards for specific games?"

Thanks Redleg for the kind words. Indeed I build battlefields specifically for given battles both in 10mm ACW and MAW. I have a good amount of basement storage and once I build one, I usually recycle games about every five years or so. I am up to 20-25 of them now so it is probably more than five years now.

Thanks, Bill! Everything is well. I am working on some WWII Italian M-13/40s. My first Italian vehicles and they will be for North Africa.
