Shiloh - North Atlanta Gamers

Post by ACWBill »

I hosted a Shiloh game recently for my club after having rebuilt the terrain to match a more current scenario. We made it to turn seven and will re-start on June 18th, our next club session. So far it has been a bloody affair but the Confederates have made slow and steady progress in the center and right while stalling out on the left. The Yanks have managed to build a formidable line centered on the sunken road and hornet's nest. Here are a few shots with more to come later this month. The shots with the gunboats were taken before the start of the game. The don't come on table until turn 14.

Looks fantastic! Fire and Fury brigade rules? The Lexington and Tyler are great. Gunboats from someone are my list, I just haven’t gotten to it yet.

Holy smokes Bill! That looks amazing! I would like to submit an application to join your club!

I have to say that your photography is spectacular! The shots through the trees and the way your bases blend into the ground is awesome!

Bill - Let me add my kudos for your great looking Shiloh board and great photos. Your board reminds me of those illustrations of battles that were in an American Heritage book on the Civil War. Great work.

Bill, are you taking requests for your Between the Lines line? Love that Shiloh battlefield, absolutely beautiful scenery, I second the American Heritage books pictures, I wore that book out when I was a kid. You can almost feel sense the peace before the opening shots, and the desperation of the Hornets Nest.
