That is a great looking Stone's River board there, Bill! I always enjoyed checking out your layouts at Historicon back in the day when I was able to attend. I remember being fascinated by scenery on your Fredericksburg game that you hosted there.

Mark Luther, I always enjoy looking at your terrain boards and always find the games you create to be very interesting with some more unusual WWII subjects.

A few shots here of the two Cedar Creek scenarios I wrote. One covers the morning action and is entitled "Dawn at Cedar Creek: Confederate Tidal Wave". The other cover the Union counter-attack and is called "Little Phil's Ride".

That's amazing work, Bill! How long does it take you to set a board like that up and have it ready for a game?

The amount of elevation makes the build-out longer, but in most cases I can build a terrain board such as Cedar Creek in 2 weekends. I build my ACW boards for a specific battle.

That is an excellent looking game, Bill! I visited the Cedar Creek battlefield on one of my working trips back East in 2007 or possibly 2008, You do great work!

Here are a few shots of a club game I ran about a year ago. The scenario involves Panzer Brigade 150 and is called Deception at Malmedy. I converted it from Rapid Fire to Spearhead for this game. The Germans received a whipping.

That looks awesome Bill! I love the terrain and buildings! What size base do you use for your infantry? They look nice and spread out on the base - mine always look really bunched up.

Very nice terrain layout, Bill, and a not so usual scenario as well.

A lot of burning tanks! Reminds me of a picture from Ukraine I just saw. Interesting game.

Chris I like your camo netting.

Thanks Gents, all bases are 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" as called for in the Spearhead rules. I use them for CD IV ToB and other rules sets as well. Generally, the bases protect the fragile infantry figures very well.

I was in the mood to do an East Front game and hadn't gotten my Pz38ts and multitudes of T26s out lately so went with a table inspired by actions with the 7th Panzer and 3rd Mech Corp in Lithuania early in Operation Barbarossa.
Almost all armor for this game-Well, 1941 standards for armor at any rate. I Ain't Been Shot Mum rules. And not so much loads of burning tanks, but abandoned.
