Cav Dog is planning to attend, along with my brother who is a 15mm ancient gamer. He likes to howl at the moon till the wee hours so I'm not sure we will be there until later that afternoon. Hopefully we can still catch some of the action. Is it the Prokorovka event?

Little Wars is a con that is held friday April 13 thru sunday april 15th. In Lincolnshire Illinois. I have never been to this con before so i can not tell you how big it is. I have heard that it is a decent sized event. Hope to see some of you there.

Little Wars is usually well attended and worth the trip. We drive 4 hours one way. It is one of two cons I attend annually. I have never been disappointed in the con or the game selection. While running into the usual "why would I associate with this guy" types, I have had an excellent time every year that I have attended. I usually end up gaming and not having time to spend much time in the vendor area, which is a good thing for my wallet. The vendors are always well organized and I get to see product that I would not see if I did not make the trip. Highly recommended. About the game - what is the event number? I assume you are using the GHQ rules? Cheers, Ric Walters

Yes; Little Wars is worth the trip. I even see that they will hold FOW national qualifiers events :?: . I would love to see something along those high profile events happen with GHQ  .
As for the game I don't have an event number yet. It is called "Prokorovka" Saturday,14 April 09:30-14:30 HRS. I plan on having a 30 minute break in the middle.
It will mimic the armor clash on 12 July 1943,SW of Prokorovka. Each player will command a Battalion sized unit (called a brigade for the Soviets, also don't worry they are not full TO&Es). It will be a 1 to 1 scale game, using my rules; Micro Panzertruppen. Stop by,I would be very happy and look forward to meeting anybody who is on the forum.

I attend every year as a vendor (Scale Creep Miniatures) so it's just work, work, work for me.

But Little Wars is a GREAT show. The games always look fantastic and whatever your game, you'll find it. If you can, do not miss it!

Mark - Glad to hear you will be a vendor at LW. It will give me a chance to see more of your 15mm WWII Germans - you know the samples you sent me that the USPS sorter ate? Then the replacements that I told you I would paint and send photos of but didn't get done? See you there! :D Ric

Mark, I get 40 miles from home (130 to go) and realize that I got a bad lunch at one of the local Cholesterol Joints in town - It's go home and be sick or drive on and die - guess that makes two of us not making it - 80 miles wasted and the weekend shot..... Hope those of you that make it tell us what a great a time you had :-)
