current affairs of the Modern Russia and china

that is a good scenario....and more so realistic then a lot would tend to believe....
as for the russkies they are leaned there military as have the Chinese and have became more efficient over the last decade
A RL friend is in the guard and we do modern tank battles from time to time he believes to US propaganda so to speak that Russia is very old and ancient in the way of there military however I do show him regular defense links and articles showing that is not the case......and web search would show this.
The Russian tank force is for the most part modernized now as for there military and they have cleaned up and ended the corruption that was there in the past, Russian armies are not starving and the military is being better paid.
Putin realized there is a semi cold war going on now....and it now included's china who has a nice defense pact, very similar to what we and say the UK has. One of the reasons we have not jumped into a war with N Korea ....Russia and China would being in our business then.
Russia and China are doing lots of joint military operations together and watching what we do in the middle east and learning from there mistakes from the past...
also note for those chinese lovers...China has aquired hummers and German military technology and other items in the last decade...and we all know German hardware is nice....not so much in the way of there armor more so in there small arms and other neat gadgets...again this can be found on the web easily
When you think of a modern micro armor battle with Russia you might want to add china possibly into that mix...
