HURRICON 07 (Orlando, FL)

Post by MTB »

Just a reminder that there is a convention in Orlando, Florida (27-30 SEP) called HURRICON 07 and hosted by HMGS-South. The hotel is a great location with plenty of family-related things to do and some great gaming.

If interested, please follow the link for more details. All are welcome.

This is my favorite convention. I reccommend attending as the hotel and location in Orlando on International Drive is great for family stuff too. HMGS South puts on a great convention and there are a good number of vendors. The gaming is top-notch as well.

Its in the same location next year. Last year several friends from HMGS-East came down and had a good time.

Put it on your calendar!

I'll be there. This is my favorite historical miniature gaming convention, hands down.

Also, the location kicks butt too! Tons of places to eat, great resort style facility and Disney World & Universal Studios Florida just a few miles away.

Awesome convention each and every year. The folks at HMGS-South are the best and really now how to put on a convention. If you were going to go to one convention per year, I'd have to say Hurricon in Florida should be on the top of everyone's list.

If you haven't been before, you should really try to make it.

Kudos for the post! :D

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this year. I just had hip surgery and can't drive long distances. But I's already working on a Stalingrad scenario For RECON 08 next spring.

Bejart/Bill - best wishes for a speedy recovery. I will look forward to seeing your Stalingrad set up at Recon. If I recall correctly, you were set up next to me a few cons ago. It looked great and the terrain was impressive.

Get Well!
