Hey,

I'm new to the forums, however, I have played the GHQ WW2 MicroArmor game several times...it's been fun each time!!! Thanks for a great game!

Now to my somewhat particular question.

What infantry minis do you use for the Arab-Israeli wars (1948-1973 approximately) I know GHQ produces a set of IDF, but they look really Modern to me, and I know the scale is small, but I was just curious about what everyone was using....nations I'm interested in: Israel, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Egypt..etc...I'd appreciate any guidance given!

Thanks!
Brian

What I used for my 1967 and 73 Israeli troops was a combo of GHQ's modern Israeli's and Vietnam era US troops. For the Arab forces, mainly Egyptian, I used Modern Russian troops. I've heard that for the 1948 Israeli troops, WW2 US works well. Not sure about 1948 Arab infantry.

Hope that helps.

DUH! I didn't think about the Vietnam US era Israelis...I kinda thought about the Modern USSR troops for Arab infantry....I also considered using US WW2 troops for a 1948 game, but I want to use the Isherman's and Super Shermans so I am sticking with the Six Day war....

Thanks for the input!
