I was wondering if anyone knew of any Canadian GHQ distributors that do online orders? Like the minis, hate the customs charges.

Hope I don't step on any toes here...

The Sentry Box in Calgary, Alberta. They carry lots of the GHQ miniatures. Sometimes though I have found that they don't have everything just because it is out of stock.
Otherwise, that is where I shopped when I live in Calgary and still do even though I'm 8 hours away now.

Click on the 'Online Catalogue' then got to the 'Miniatures', then to 'Miniatures by Company' and you will see GHQ on there. Of coarse in order to get what you want, you have either call it in or send them an email.

Not sure if there has been a mistake in the past, but I have ordered minis from the States before (from other sources mind, amd smaller orders) and not even been charged the handling fee. I was shocked when the mail man knocked and said that I owed for the package. Looking at the form now I see it is the handling fee, plus the GST and PST.

Anyway. Thanks I'll check the Sentry Box.

You know I am some what shocked on how the 6mm hobby seems to be slipping of late. I can remember going to CanGames (Ottawa) about 5-6 years ago and seeing at least 2 dealers with a boat load of GHQ miniatures. Went this past June and not a one. Figures, now that I am getting interested in the scale I can't find any locally.

Oh, well. There is always mail order.

This a good reason why...retailers cannot compete with the internet... We had an earlier discussion on this forum about that.
