Hello All,

I know it's not for everyone, but Ian has finished developing the AH-56 Cheyenne (my favorite helicopter). It's up to his typical great quality - everything within scale inches. I thought I'd post the pictures we took last week. I don't know if he's planning on selling them; we 'commissioned' it because no one will ever build them.

I hope this works, as I still have not been able to post pics directly to this forum.

He's still working on an IL-76 and a Caribou.

I could be mistaken but I believe that somebody or other already makes an IL-76 in plastic at 1:288 scale ? TOKO perhaps ? Will check further and report ...

Wow, very impressive helicopter Steve!!!

@robdab:
TOKO makes some planes in 1/288 but afaik no IL-76 - nevertheless they make (made?) smaller stuff: An-24, An-26, An-30, An-32P, An-71 and An-74

Cheers Ben

Sorry, not an IL-76 but rather ...

... as I look at the box, it is an Antonov AN-12 in 1:288 by AR Model Studio, done in resin.

Sorry about the confusion but it has been locked away in my - to build - closet for about 4 years now.

Hi Robert,

a AN-12 in 1/288 - very nice!! Somewhere I still have one of the "other guys" white metal AN-12 in 1/300.

Kind regards,
Ben

I have both the plastic model and the other guy's AN-12. The AR model is good, but pretty fragile. I'm going to try to make it more solid by filling it with putty prior to assembly.

There are still not enough transports available to suit me.
