I am aging as well. Most of my camouflage schemes are made up based upon what I have seen on model boxes and on other minitanks. I am stuck about base colors for French, Polish and Italian units. Some of my armored cars and tanks are painted for desert warfare but I include them with my European vehicles because there are wheatfields to cross and a little brush can hide the tan or yellow.
But I do not begrudge those who stick to absolute historical accuracy. No, I admire their skill and craftmanship in achieving beautiful models. The scratchbuilt and show yer' stuff pages on this forum are beautiful and I cannot hope to match the accuracy for detail not only about the paint scheme itself but in shading the details and making the tank or vehicle look absolutely realistic.
Yes. Mk1 please move it. THanks.
