Many members of this forum have served in the military and so they have first hand knowledge of recent/current American infantry TO&Es. And a lot of us do lots of research and simply know alot about TO&Es. So, if you know about real-world TO&Es and enjoy trying to model them in wargame terms, please review and comment on the orgs below. It's for some home grown rules I'm working on.
Scale is 1 stand = ~2 soldiers with 2 figures per stand. That means the visual scale is ~1:1 but the game mechanics work at the stand level. Each side fields a platoon or so and squads are the units/maneuver elements. So, most squads have 2-4 stands.
Rifle/GL = grenade launcher
Rifle/AT = AT-4, SMAW, or Javelin
