Hi All!! I moved to czech rep. Here there are lots of bunkers. In the 30's there were even more, today just some of them survived. I've visited 3 of them this morning in the area around Druzec, south of Kladno, 20 km west of Prague. Here was build the last fixed line of fortifications to defend the capital. I'll post some photos (the terrain here is great, gentle hills, woods, crop field, lots of streets that allows lateral movements, and bunkers. In my opinion this is a great tank county, al also a remarkabl place concernig beer and girls. Definitely a place to figh for! )

Here is the first bunker, situated in the village of Doksy.

Second bunker, situated in a small valley near a mill.

third and last, the best of all, a "bridge bunker". It is classified as "atipical", not standard. All these 3 bunkers were build in the 1937, adding a stronger defenisive screen to the previus line build in the 1936. The '37 bunkers were more strong then the previus, and weren't oriented toward the enemy like the '36 models.

An interesting particular. The top of the bunker is provided with a parapet, I think to avoid that trown granades would fall around, making explode them on the top. The wood bench is post war "touristic up-grade".

Can also be seen two air intakes.
