Is that a solid piece or can you pull it apart? It seems a small gap almost exists in that picture and I was wondering if the sides were meant to be spread if needed.

Yes it comes in halves with the base of course being a third part.

So two separate sand bag parts and then the platform.

EDIT" Actually come to think of it, it might be possible that it came in quarters but not for sure. I do know it was a multiple part wall though...hope that helps.
