Here are some updated pictures of ship now based on a base. I am quite happy with how my first micronaut ship turned out. It was a big learning experience main lessons I learned was.
1. Don’t try to hand paint the undercoat of the model, next time I will use spray to undercoat the ship in smooth single layer.
2. Will be ordering some GHQ paints for my next ships I do.
3. Will be buying some more files and tools for working on smaller models.
4. Also the gray paint I have is two dark of a gray and the deck coat is a little too dark but I like how the ship turned out all and all.
Please let me know what you guys think of the finished ship, don’t be too hard remember I am still a newbie on painting ships

What are the best can spray primers to use for undercoating mircronauts? And should I use a black or white undercoat for ships?
And second what GHQ paints would you recommend for painting US Navy Ships?
I also need to know the GHQ colors most commonly used for the darker colored decks and what best of the GHQ Grays to use for the ships.
I plan on placing an order for some paints in the coming weeks and want to make sure I get the right paints for any future ships I paint.

I don't usually paint ships but with my armor, I always lighten up whatever color I want to use due to the scale of the model.
