U.S.S. Sumner AG-32 AKA U.S.S. Bushnell AS-2 HELP

Post by IRISH »

I need help from the guys who I feel can help me the most, I am going to give my best shot at creating the the U.S.S. Sumner AG-32 in 1/2400 in a one time shot ( lost wax cast ) This is a ship I know GHQ will never model, but I need her for my PH diorama. If any one has pictures or drawings of the Sumner please let me know. I have several but not yet enough to make a fair representation.

Thanks in advance guys,

William ( IRISH )

Ahoy Irish!
The link below should get you some good pictures and some data to help you with this project:

Looks like this ship was a one-of-a-kind class. I'm not sure if anyone else makes something that's the right size with that nice clipper bow. I did a quick scan of some of the other makers and came up empty. Wish I could be more helpful.
Best of luck!!
Kevin
