WW2 equipment swap? Dorchester, Staghound

Hi guys. I need 1 staghound a/c and 1 or 2 Dorchester ACV's. I have a few bits to trade, both WW2 and modern. Anyone with these items spare can contact with a 'wish list' and I'll see what I can do to accommodate. If a trade can be organised, all good. I already have 3 staghounds (there are 4 in an a/c squadron) so buying 5 seems stupid. A whole brigade only has 2 ACV's, so buying 5 seems stupid... one of the (very) few advantages of H&R... you buy by the unit, not by packs.

Piersyf:
Don't know if you are aware, but you can also buy individual vehicle hulls and/or turrets, or individual sprues of infantry/guns/accessories from GHQ.
The "where & how" is in the FAQ on this website.
I would not recommend it for routine purchases, as you get a much better deal buying the packages. But when you need one-offs and replacements, it is indeed more economical than buying the whole package and having most of the contents left-over.
I have used this service in the past, and been fully satisfied with the results. Getting a barrel or two for SPGs where I had some bare hulls, etc. Worked out well for me. You do have to be very careful to explicitely describe exactly what you want, from which package, but if you can describe it, you get it.
If you aren't sure how to go about it, you might contact GHQ. The GHQ customer service folks have always been courteous and helpful to me in my dealings with them.
(Not meaning to derail your offer of a trade ... I have many items in the "extras" bin that I'd love to trade, but alas I have no Staghouns nor ACVs. But if you can't find someone to trade with, you can always find someone in the trade -- GHQ!)

Thanks Mark. I have used that facility as well, having just acquired some alternate turrets for my Shermans. It is an option, and given postage costs of even a swap it isn't that expensive. If I can't organise a swap hen I'll likely do just as you suggest.
Wouldn't it be nice if the combat command idea was available as a 'pick your own' to a certain value? Even at a premium cost (say $50) you'd have less waste, and the extra $10 would easily cover the costs of packing a special order. Hmmm, maybe I should look at how those costs work out against the special orders... it may already be available
