But we already have IS-3's!

My fingers or toes might cross at the hint of IS-4's! Or maybe even IS-7's!!

Oh, and some T-44's to go with them. And maybe even models of the initial version of the T-54. Shore would be nice to role against the Germans with heavies that could resist 128's, and mediums that could resist 88's... 8)

Mark,

I feel silly for having missed the IS-3s

I have not been a huge poster to this board (notice my count) but I have tried to stay out of the '47 debate. I do have some hopes for the range, for a long time ago I wrote on one of the [way too many] wishlist threads that I would like to see the E-Series models produced. I profess to be a historicals gamer, and yes the line is not true to history, but it is about the closest to sci-fi that I am willing to dabble. And I do desire to dabble...just as long as it doesn't go the way of GearKrieg or Weird War II.

A thread on TMP was concerning gaming and "fun," and as I see it, it has the possibilities of being fun! We get huge tanks without all the devastation of Leo2A6s and M1A2s getting a hit and a kill with every shot fired. I think it can be agreed that modern rules are always 'dumbed-down' so as to give the non-western forces a chance.

Well, let's wait and see.

Dave

GHQ should move the Coelion, Kugelblitz, Panther 2, Panther 1F, Maus, and the E-100 in their existing WWII German line to the new 1947 line catalog. These items are more appropriate in the '47 line.

Wehrmacht '47

Although GHQ does make the IS-3 model, it is an old model and in my opinion needs to be revised to be brought up to the current state of the art. It does not look that great compared with the stuff GHQ has been doing in the last 20 years. I would definitely vote for doing this one again and putting a "new" IS-3 into the line.
I also vote for the T-44 as well and the early Centurion. There is no reason not to do the allied late war and early post war vehicles as well.
As far as infantry goes, I would like to see British infantry in "tortise" helmets for 1944 and later.
