10mm wish list

Post by SJDonovan »

Just thought I'd pitch in with a few suggestions for additions to the 10mm line.

ACW
Officers in slouch hats in action poses
Infantry in March-attack poses

NAPOLEONIC
British light dragoons
French line lancers

Also, and this is more of an observation than a request, where are the Old Guard? Aren't they generally the biggest sellers in Napoleonics?

Anyway, just thought I'd run those up the flagpole.

ACW:
Native American Soldiers (Trans-Mississippi Scenarios)

I also second the idea of 10mm buildings. GHQ quality buildings in 10mm...oh yea!

Annual 10mm ACW Wish List

Post by ACWBill »

I post this annually. A couple of the items on this list are supposedly pending so I have italicized them.

US infantry in great coats & Forage Caps (at right shoulder shift) IE Fredricksburg
US Bummers in Sack Coats and Slouch hats for Western Theater
Ragged Confederates IE Hood's Texans
Cavalry in ACTION poses
CS Cavalry with shotguns and pistols and US with Sabres in fighting poses
Iron Brigade in Hardee Hats and Frock Coats with gaiters
US troops in Frock Coat and Kepi
CS Troops in Frock Coat and Slouch Hats

Heavy Coastal Artillery and Crew
US and CS Sailors and naval landing parties
Civilians
More Personalities - Hood, Cleburne, Forrest, Rosecrans, Thomas for the WESTERN theater!
Troops of all kinds taking hits

In general the infantry and cavalry need to be in better action poses like you'll find in 15mm and 28mm lines. The 10mm Napoleonic Cavalry is done in this manner. Why not ACW?

This is far from a complete list.

10mm buildings would be great but to be honest I would always vote for more figures ahead of more terrain.

More ACW 10mm stuff

Post by Regulars »

ACW Charging cavalry and a horse holders pack (Don't need 8+ Lincolns)
Lets go with the frock coat infantry as well.

A repeat from an earlier post:
For the future it might be good to consider landing parties and boats/poontoons
How about some cross over N scale model RR items for the ACW. For the RR items 28/30 foot Box cars, flat cars and passenger cars along with a conversion kit for the Bachmann 4-4-0... These would possibly have a sufficent market from the two communities and fit in with both product lines.
As a carry over from earlier discussions an N scale balloon would also work in the proposed crossover wargame model RR line.
10mm (160) civilians for the 18oo's
There would also be some Nn3 model RR interest as well.
Cheers,

Iron Brigade Please!!!

Post by 30YRSGHQ »

I agree with the previous posts:

Cavalry in action (should be coming soon)
Iron Brigade infantry and command (multiple sets)
Ragged Confederates
More Action Poses
More personalities
Field Accessories (barrels, crates, different wagons...)
Sappers and personnel in sitting (non-combat poses)
Indian Wars and Frontier Items (after you fill the ACW line!)

How about some British troops suitable for the Peninsular War? This would be pretty easy to do I think since they are just the same as the Light Infantry but without the big 'wings' worn by the flank companies.
