My "top twelve" list has changed a bit since I posted this list in June 2015. GHQ did the WWI Birmingham last year, & the Duquesne and Idaho more recently. GHQ still hasn't been very good to me. My "want list" down below is what's left from my original list:
1. DD Melpomene class. The small French DD.
2. AC Waldeck Rosseau. This WWi protected cruiser had six funnels. Maybe not a
particularly good reason to choose this ship, but it just fascinates me.
3. DD Akatsuki. Between CinC and GHQ, nearly all the other WWII IJN DDs are covered.
Only the Wakatake is left (according to my reference book).
4. BB Iowa. Not a big difference from the Missouri, but the bridge is different, and B turret
has a different arrangement of AA guns.
5. DD Maestrale or Oriani classes. These classes were similar, so one model could be
used for both classes. CinC already does (or did) either the Folgore or Freccia
class, so I'd like to see GHQ produce something a little different.
6. BB Malaya. The only U.K. BB that needs to be added. "Tiny Thingmajigs" on
Shapeways has one; I may order that model if I get around to making an order with
them.
7. CA York. Shapeways does this ship now.
8. CA Suss ex. I think this model could be used for four different U.K. CAs.
9. CLAA Scylla. Two ships in this class.
10. predreadnought Braunschweig (I don't guarantee the spelling). I want to fill out the German battle fleet at Jutland.
I'm not gonna add any new ships to my want list. At my age (79 - God, that's old) I doubt they'll get to what I already want in my lifetime. OTOH, if they don't, I plan on haunting them unmercifully after I die!
Still haven't made an order with WTJ so I can get a good model of Branschweig ("Silver Rule;" never put off 'til tomorrow what you can put off 'til the next day.). I don't think WTJ has the Rosseau, but I don't remember for sure.

I'm going to cast some votes for the 1/1200 napoleonic micronauts. It's been a long time since any manufacturer released a new ship so the market is there for the taking!
- British 1st Rate 120 guns Caledonia - the British standard for post-Trafalgar 1st Rates.
- British 3rd Rate 74 guns Vengeur - the so-called Surveyors class of 40 ships, also known as the 'forty thieves' due to alleged short cuts in the dockyards!
- British 5th Rate Frigate 44 guns Indefatigable - cos I'm fed up with American frigates winning.
- British 5th Rate Frigate 40 guns Endymion
- Generic Collier - not very exciting but huge numbers and great targets for skirmishes and small convoys

I might also say that GHQ should revisit the whole range and consider doing away with the "Full Sail" vs. "Battle Sail" and revamp the masts and sails somewhat along the Rod Langton approach...

Here we are, about half-way through GHQ's 2019-2020 season. At this time, I am going to provide a boost for some ships that are not in the 'top 100' of the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List. I would encourage any other enthusiast to submit their list of favorites. For enthusiasts of modern naval warfare, please note that my interest is pre-1950 ships. Modern ships really need more votes in the Wish List.
- From 15 to 16 votes: WWII UK destroyer V & W-classes, fast (short-range) escort conversion. The long-range escort conversions have more votes (deservedly) but the fast escorts are interesting, especially those with twin 6-pdr 100cwt mounts for improved anti-E-boat capability.
- From 14 to 15 votes: WWI UK battle cruiser Renown-class, 1917 appearance. Repulse saw combat at Heligoland Bight in this appearance.
- From 13 to 14 votes: pre-Dreadnought Japan battleship Mikasa; flagship of the Japanese fleet at the Battle of Tsushima.
- From 12 to 13 votes: WWII Japan destroyer Mutsuki-class, fast transport conversion. These conversions of obsolescent ships were useful during the initial advances in the Pacific. Many were lost in the ** CENSORED ** campaign.
- From 11 to 12 votes: WWII USA attack transport Bayfield (APA 23). This relatively large class of attack transports became important in the late-war Pacific campaigns.
- From 10 to 11 votes: WWI USA battleship Colorado (BB 45) class, as originally built. Although too late for WWI combat, I think GHQ should continue to series of USA battleships.
- From 9 to 10 votes: WWI Italy battleship Dante Alighieri. This unique ship appeals to me because of its appearance.
- From 8 to 9 votes: WWII UK cruiser Curacoa, anti-aircraft conversion. Rammed and sunk with great loss of life by Queen Mary.
- From 7 to 8 votes: WWI Japan battlecruiser Kongo-class, as originally built. I think GHQ should begin a series of WWI Japanese ships.
- From 6 to 7 votes: WWII USA battleship North Carolina (BB 55)-class, with original 1.1†anti-aircraft armament.
- From 5 to 6 votes: WWII Germany torpedo boat T 1937 (T 13)-class. These were essentially small destroyers, widely used along the north-west coast of Europe.
- From 4 to 5 votes: WWI USA destroyer Paulding (DD 22)-class. This fills in a gap among the early USA destroyers.
- From 3 to 4 votes: WWII Japan transport Type 2D. Approximately the Japanese equivalent of mass-produced Liberty ships but too few and too late. They do provide targets for Allies submarines and aircraft.
- From 2 to 3 votes: WWII Germany hospital ship Wilhelm Gustaloff (Lazarettschiffe D). Sunk with massive loss of life by Soviet submarine in 1945.
- From 1 to 2 votes: WWII UK battleship Royal Oak, following 1936 refit. This represents an early-war version of the Revenge-class without all the anti-aircraft weapons added later. Royal Oak was sunk by a German submarine in Scapa Flow.

For StarCruiser: I will add votes for WWI UK destroyer V&W classes and WWI USA destroyer Wickes/Clemson classes.
I would point out, however, that the existing UKN43, V&W class, and USN34, Paul Jones, are close representations of their appearance in WWI. The only significant difference I can see is that the UKN and USN models carry more depth charges than the ships did in 1918.

True - I forgot the Paul Jones was out there... Shaving some of the depth charges would probably be enough to use them.
The early V&W types did originally have 2x2 torpedo launchers instead of the 2x3 launchers on the current WWII minis and that might be a bit difficult to remove.
The current V&W mini would work fine for some of the WWI ships though.
