Indeed a Happy Canada day.... got overtime at work, then cake and fireworks in the evening.

LOL...my wife and I took holidays this past week and we were in Calgary at the time of Canada Day. We went downtown to watch the show and see some fireworks but alas, it started to rain then got cold so we went back to our friends house :(
So we never got to see the fireworks, but up until that point it wasn't that bad...quite enjoyed myself. :D

my parents' anniversary is the 1st of July and they often go up to Victoria for it. They are always impressed that the Canadians know this and celebrate by shooting off fireworks. :D
