Gentlemen, are the ACW charging cavalry ready to order? I see from the list they're supposed to be out but I don't see them anywhere on the site. A recent order my friend recieved had package numbers and pricing. If they're ready, an order will be shortly forthcoming. I would also pick mine up at Historicon.

ACW-59 and 60 are available. They are not up on our website yet. A note will be made to the person who puts new items up on our website. If you are placing an online order, you can add them in the "ordering instructions" field of your online shopping cart, and we will add them to your order when we process it. If you are ordering on the phone, or mail, just order them as you normally would.
We will not be bringing orders to Historicon to be picked up. Logistically it can sometimes be more difficult than it seems, and if there are any problems everyone is not always very understanding that mistakes can happen. Get your orders in to us, and we will do our best to get them out ASAP.
Thanks,
GHQ

Charging Cav
I have ordered three packs each of the the charging cavalry sight unseen. I will provide a review once received. I am looking forward to receiving my first new 10mm GHQ ACW figure packs in over seven years.
I have recently been busily about a conversion project. I am running Shiloh at Hurricon in September and the GHQ infantry in Frock Coats will not yet be released. I ordered two sets of siege gun crews in frock coats. I used a bunch of skirmishers, marching infantry and standing and firing types for the conversion. Each figure was chopped in half at the belt (slightly above or below) and matched up. The firing, skirmishing or marching types were then married with the frock coated bottoms. I re-assembled them this weekend and will paint them next weekend as an early-war, Shiloh era Western Confederate infantry brigade for my game. I will post up pics when the project is complete.

Iron Brigade Coming Soon
ACW Bill,
I noticed that there are three sets of 10mm Iron Brigade infantry coming starting in October. I just noticed it in GHQ's newest catalog. If true, this is great news.

Yes, I discussed this with the boys from the "Q" at Historicon. Seems they will have Hardee Hats and Frocks (no gaiters as they are mid-late war) but I am very pleased.
